Lucky

Sometimes I want to slit my wrists,
And I wish that I were dead.
But I just think about my friends,
And I pray to God instead.

I cry over the stupid things,
Like money, cars, and guys.
And then I have a conniption fit,
When one of my friends lies.

I need someone to talk to,
About a guy I knew.
And I was just hoping,
That I could talk to you.

I asked you for your help,
And you said you will.
I asked you for your guidance,
And you asked me how I feel.

I said that I felt hurt,
And betrayed from everyone.
I said my life was boring,
And I never did have fun.

She told me to forgive myself,
For what I had just said.
And to tell myself I'm lucky,
Because I could be dead.

From that point on I lived a life,
The best way that I knew.
And now I'm a happy person,
And it's all because of you.
