Why Is It

why is it when i touch your hand i feel a calming sensation
why is it every time i see your eyes i get flush with emotion
why is it i hear children's laughter every time we embrace
why is it my heart skips a beat when you smile
why is it you fluster my skin with your touch
why is it my life would be nothing without you
why is it every bird in the sky chirps your name
why is it im so attached to another human

Willted Stone

we forged our names in willted stone
felt like a king without his throne
filtered dreams of love abide, strong earthly woman by my side
coins of gold shimmer brite
silver goblets reflect our might
tempered streams of wine and song
loving you im never wrong
sunless day's and winters night
heart felt dreams with visual sight
willted stone i feel your grace, the sun, the moon, conjoin in space tender hearts that once were one
lifes last grace from father to son.

Flustered

deep in wounder, my eyes gaze upon the horizon of your selfishness
loathing the warm embrace of your coy witty charms, and loving eyes
flustered i walk along the temple of your being, engulfed with the envy of your shy and
witty alure
costly visions plunder my heart when i gaze upon your tender and suttle eyes
rapture of life is caught seething through my hands like sand slithering down an hour
glass for which there is a endless worp of time.

One

bright streams of summer light
voids in time till day is night
i caress the moon and gaze the stars
i feel the wounds and heal your scars
heart felt nights when we are one
cherished dreams have just begun
a walk in sand we feel the heat
ocean waves roll in a beat
the distant cry of a sea blown wave, your touch, and kiss are things i crave
i watch your eyes reflect the sun, a love filled night where we are one.

Fractured Youth

my fathers hands so worked and worn
a child of three my life was torn
my child eyes watch you endure the pain
when you left it never was the same
drunken nights i watched and cryed, fear for you so deep inside
lost and little i felt your pain, trust and hope id never regain
impaled with fear and scared for life
you cut my heart with all your strife
older now i understand , life dealt you a bitter hand
day by day i watched you suffer, all the pain i could not muster
young and lost my heart was dead, fatherly words you never said
even though my childhood was scorned, i love you father for you are mourned
i think of all your drunken night's, barroom brawls and family fights
till cancer came and scared your brain,i watched you suffer and went insane
i write this ode on a tear stained page,i felt your hurt as much as rage
my wounds are healing as time slips by, i stare at your grave and just ask why.

Treasured Dreams

tribal lights reflect the moon, blades of grass long in june
day's of hope and nights of wonder
i loath the rain in all it's plunder
eagles soar at mountians side
fear and hope, love and pride
treasured dreams in hearts are filled
false words in time are killed
still motion of light dances above, a fathers praise , a mothers love
i close my eyes and see your face,a treasured dream i can't replace

Twisted

silk light streaks threw the summer bloom
wind swept dreams and days of gloom
mellow colors billow in air, somber dreams of loves
drunken whispers fill the sky
mothers love with apple pie
life is a journey long but far
you choose to walk but take the car
cat cry fill a hallowed night, ghostly critters give us fright
timeless clock ticks harrowed sounds
love and hate exceeds all bounds
wishes fill a lovers well, beauty casts it's wicked spell
days of hope and nights of wonder
echoed halls roar with thunder
water trickles fill night sounds, we live our life in leaps and bounds

Brush Strokes

artistic strokes of a brush, mountians blue, a rivers rush
wind blown trees and daffadills, you paint the sky to meet the hill's
mixing colors gray and white, paint a cloud, reflect the light
a motionless child lost in time, artistic strokes all in your mind
reflect the earth and steal it's plunder
an eagle soars, a flash of thunder
a rolling wind blows threw the trees, a ship afar on the seas
you see the light and paint the sun, your brilliant work has just begun
you stroke the canvas with love and pride, now we know whats deep inside.

Day In June

freckeled faces fill the crowd
i hear your voice so soft and loud
i see the sun, and feel the rain
words are spoken go in vain
we walk a path so long and wide
you shed a tear and try to hide
a tetherd leaf falls from a tree
you gaze the stars and think of me
i see the clouds and watch the moon
still thinking about that day in june
