Introduced Species

To the earth no to witness our birth.
Like parasites we crawl out of the dirt.
Like salt to soil we come to spoil.
In a world not our own we are meant to toil.
To the skies our thoughts stray.
For reasons unknown were left to stay.
Reasons invented to comfort were told to pray.
War after war we have sustained.
Through our arrogance we hope to maintain.
Through mental deprivation we have slain.
Evolution is absolution our will we bend.
Journey onward toward the end.
Primitive we are what message to send?

Out Shined

You gave freedom to my soul
By unlocking prison's door.
I hide in your shadows asking for more.
Your here must you leave so soon.
With you within me i feel like the space between the earth and the moon.
With me now , and always forever mine.
When i fall asleep for the very last time
Let world make no sound
When they lower me into the ground.
Please make no sound.
From the ground i see the tears flow.
Like the hands of a beggar never let me go.
With you I tasted the sweetest of wine.
Like a candle you blow out the sun, so i may never be out shined.

Unseen

My heart bleeds like compassion for forgiveness.
The question flows an ocean of stillness.
A thought to lend to my very end.
Be my self afflicting wound.
Your hands are bright please send the night soon.
Like a tear on the face I flow on the one.
Watch me travel to join with the tongue.
With the angels i plunge, my grace is his.
May they taste how bitter life really is?
Sin is in the eye of the beholder innocence is what I seek.
You are a rumor behind a veil may i have just peek.
You are the soul to my mate like a king to his throne.
There is someone for everyone yet we all must die alone.
I want to be free.
When will the unseen speak to me?

The Shadow

I saw the shadow cry on the wave of the sea.
It bled tears of golden bronze.
It voiced drowning gulls into the sunset.
When asked why, he looked to the sky
he turned and said the world that
you see is enough to make me cry..

Soul

Cry, cry you do as you fly
blind as you are you search for the light.
Only to realise there is no truth to your flight, your sight.
Like spirits searching for a warm feeling
wander this world without meaning
To remain silent is your choice
Words mean little without a voice.
