A Life Without a Purpose

Im thinking to myself
how am i going to start off this poem?
hey look!
there it is...

We begin to think too hard on life
and dont even realize what we do
we get offended by what they say about us
but what they were saying is now becoming true

we degrade ourselves on what we can accomplish
we set our standards low
we question how we will get to our destination
dont question yourself, just go!

we begin to think to hard on life.
and dont even realize what we do
maybe the person that you plan to be
is already inside of you...

Time Waisted

You held my hand
Just to let go
You told me yes
Just to say no

You took my heart
Just to give it back
You fulfilled me
Just to make me lack

You made me smile
Just to make me frown
You asked me out
Just to turn me down

You made things right
Just to make it wrong
You shortened my pain
Just to make it long

You did all these things
Just to be mine
Then you decided to leave
We just waisted our time....

This Christmas

This Christmas is coming near
But i have a feeling it'll be blue
each day represents a tear
that falls because i lost you

no hanging p the christmas tree this year
thats just a waiste of time...
no filling out holiday cards of cheer
since this yea'r, you are not mine

it seems like "Its A Wonderful Life"
only its you, noy George, thats gone
hope you be a lot like him though
and at the end, find your way back home

im dreaming of a white christmas?
yea cuz this one's blue
have yourself a merry christmas?
naww, not without you

diffrent carols replay in my head...
as if they were made just for me
to cheer me up this christmas
so i can enjoy it JOYFULLY

hey, pinestreet 74 lane
please mail me back my heart
thats what you can give me for christmas
at least that would be a great start

i decided to try something diffrent
writing to santa might help a little
old saint nick might get us back together
but i wouldnt want him to get in the middle...

so i decided to call my mom
her words are always true
but i was asking for advice
i got idea that she didnt like you

i said a lil prayer to God
whom i should've called on first
i started to tell him everything
but he already knew, of course

God answered so fast
and his words were so clear
he said: "Have you eva hought that maybe
He was only for this year?"

"see some people come for a season
thats the thing you didnt know
so in order for this xmas to compkete
you gotta let him go!

I know this letter seems useless
my heart's still broken though
but now its time to close the curtains
this season was quite a show....

A Letter To My Father

The bible says to train up a child in the way it should go
but how can you train them if youre not there?
you think that its makin the situation better
but it really seems like you dont care

why when i call you, you dont answer?
like im not even your child.
and its not because i want something
its just that i havent spoken to you in a while

maybe it was the death of your parents,
that causes you to do what you do
you run away like a slave in hiding
idk, thats just my excuse for you.

i think ive seen you 3 times this year
and each time i had to be strong.
its not the money you dont give me
but its the lack of effort that makes you wrong

if it was up to my mother, i wouldnt love you.
trust me; i would hate you with a passion, my friend
but lucky for you i have a strong love,
thats life-love and will never end.

when you read this letter, will you decide to be there?
will you have a change of heart?
or have you always wanted to love me?
but just didnt know where to start?

all these questions and no answers
if you would talk to me then i would know
can you pick up the phone and call me?
because there's a million questions more!

i may act like i dont care,
just to soothe my mother's attitude
but the truth is, you can come back anytime.
i'll welcome you with gratitude

although everbody may not use it
we all have a heart
as for me, i guess i'll be waiting...
no matter when you decide to start.
