You crept into my heart 
like a thief in the night
took over my heartache
and made everything all right

You filled out the help wanted application
to become my new best friend
you saw that there was work that needed to be done
and bridges that needed to mend

I honestly couldn't have done it without you,
you have been a real asset
and even if I pass tonight
