Predator

Predators tense.
Teeth like razors,
But the eyes hold more.
Anger, hostile features.
Cowering pray.
Weak, puny lives.
Filled with nothing but flesh and blood.
The ignorance is humoring.
Smile at the weakness,
holding it in sweaty claws.
Nothing beats this power.
Superior being walks among
Like the animal you wish you were

Marked

I am marked with life's vicious scars
A blanket drawn tightly over my arms
These tattoos will never disappear
The hatred I've been drawing for a year
Open your eyes and you'll see
I'm as broken as I can be.

The End

Alone,
Covered in my own selfish sins.
With this knife,
I will scratch out my flaws.
A new me lies below the surface.
A formless being.
A symbol of perfection.
The sting awakens my deepest reality.
Vivid colors burst into view.
The hopeless girl,
Will soon be no more.
As I take this plunge,
Into an eternity of darkness.
