Moving Up the Food Chain

We were vegan
with a brain smaller
than a peanut
and then we started eating
meat
fish
our brain got larger
we became higher primates
moving up the food chain
larger brain
smarter men
bigger hearts
higher blood pressure
and now
we moved back
to green
forget the red meat
back
to the trees
and to grass fields
became vegan again
up and down
the food chain
hopefully the brain
stays the same...

Breakfast For Two

In a little town
with a little street
and single traffic
was a tiny diner
with just a few people
among them Robert
and his wife Francine
who for twenty years
order the same things,
pancakes with butter
for mister Robert
omelette with truffle
for Mrs Francine
the same time forever
the same routine
but one morning
oh what morning
Bob came alone
and ordered for two
this is for Francine
said with some guilt
that came just alone
and time, what time
it was going quick
and Bob the postman
it was growing sick
pancakes and the omelette
were freezing quick
waiting for Francine
but she never came
because was killed
from a drunk driver
who got in wrong place
in the wrong exit.

Since then
Rob the postman
comes all alone
and orders for two
pancake with butter
and truffle omelette
the first is for me
second for Francine
she is coming late
because the traffic
after sitting lonely
with coffee across
he gets up,awake
goes back to work
aged a million
and totally lost...

Wolfman

It's full moon
and he is feeling tense
angry
hopeless
and desperate
taking antidepressants
by fists
talking to his
psychiatrist
yelling to his
little kids
to his wife
and to the police
spending the weekend
in jail
howling
like a wounded beast...

pray
for this
poor Wolfman
born with shackles
on hands...

Mr Caveman

Me
mr caveman
know only two words
"me want"
and"me hate"
me want meat
lots of meat
me want women
lots of women
me want war
lots of wars
me want caves
lots of caves
me hate guy
from other cave
me want kill him
kill his women
kill his kids
take whole mountain
me become a big king
me have slaves
work for me
me do absolutely nothing
me drink beer
me eat meat
me smoke
a whole field of weed
me become a caveman-pimp...

If this guy
reminds you someone
with no doubt
this is him...

Blue Eyed Babe

Don't close
your eyes
divine creature
because of your smile
the sky
is not sky
and the stars
are not stars...

sleepless angel
you shine
from inside...

Mr Nose Picker

Today
I salute You
mr Nose picker
i know
you are a respectful man
in your corporate
big
with a little question mark
after it
you pick your nose
everywhere
in the highway
behind the wheel
behind the desk
in your office
in the hallway
thinking you are alone
trust me
i always see you
picking your nose
which is already red
and no wonder big
like a huge awning
on a brick building
please stop it
go wash your hands
or use a clean napkin
because tonight i salute you
for your innocent courage
of nose picking
thanks very much
thanks
for nothing...

Elegy For the Summer That's Gone

It's fall
the end
winter it's just
days away
last leaves
fall around and die
sending wet invitations
for their melancholic funeral
calling all the angels
to come
but they're gone
maintaining a low profile
waiting
for the next spring
late may
when the little flower
will born
again
and again will bloom
through tearful eyes
the little maroon
flower...

Devil Eyes

The day i saw
this con man
was night
and wind
was snow
and rain
he was laughing
kicking for fun
white snow balls
and children skulls
angels like flies
were falling around...

It happened the day
I saw this man
an unexploded grenade
was left on the board
killing instantly
the drunken pilot...

That day I thought
was the end of the world
that was taken over
from the foes of God...

I couldn't think straight
i was just a teen
stuck in the middle
of a sophomoric dream...

The Warrior King

He is not coming back
to my dreams
anymore

left in the morning
disappeared in the mist
leaving behind
a horseshoe
and the wind
got lost forever
into mountains
where the wolves
and the ambushmakers
never sleep
just kill

warrior king
Gjergj Kastriot
burning on stranger crosses
for stranger
gods...

Let's Go To a Nicer Place

I'm going
to Boca Raton
the so called
rich people's "hell"
and learn
how to be happy and smiley
and sexy
and have a nice thing to say
after any
commercial break...

How to cheat
in income taxes
how to send
away business
how to hide
away my profits
how to lie
the government
how to open
a corporate
in Costa Rica
and Bangladesh
how to dump
all the garbage
in rivers,
trees
and everywhere
turning this countries
and their people
in garbage lands
and garbage men

And at the end
i'll spend my life
striking some cans
with rotten eggs
and that's will be my paradise
and that's will be
my so called hell...
