The Rose

THE ROSE

A rose is something that defines beauty, as well as something that is beauty.
Such as you my love you also define beauty, and you are beauty.
Your beauty enhances my every breath, it makes my life have meaning.
I long for you all through the day, it gives me strength and courage along my way.
I'd feel so incomplete without your love, like the world without the dove.
You are my true everything, and what my life is to bring.
Many days have come to past, in your arms is where I wish to spend my last.
I wish to take thee from thine life, to have thee for mine wife.
For if you wished not to be with me, it would be plain for me to see.
For I am no more than a mortal man, living my life the best that I can.
Hoping and wishing I could be with you, realizing that there's nothing I can do.
Seeing in my mind a picture of you beside that rose,
Hoping for you to know that my love still grows.
Stronger and stronger my love burns for thee, knowing deep inside that its killing
me.
I know that I can't stand much more of this pain, as it slowly picks and picks at my
brain.
Wishing that I'd be a single man, not captured by the thought of taking your hand.
Searching all my life for someone to love, not realizing that you were sent from
above.
Not realizing that it was indeed you, but opening my eyes and seeing what was
true.
For that night when I had to go, I tried real hard to let you know.
How afraid and scared I truly was, not knowing why but just because.
I've never let anyone understand me, I've hidden it all this you can see.
I'm by myself and all alone, I'm someone that has never been known.
No one really knows why, they don't care or even try.
See I feel as if I am that rose, just waiting to lose the beauty that keeps me alive.
No matter what happens or how hard I try, I will fade away piece by piece and
eventually die!!!!! ©

Empty

THERE IS A HOLE IN MY SOUL,
EMPTY,GREY,BLEEK AND DARK.
THIS EMPTINESS IS KILLING ME,
IS THIS WHAT MY LIFE IS MEANT TO BE.
LOST AND ALONE FOR ALL ETERNITY,
FULL OF CONFUSION AND UNCERTAINTY.
I ACCEPT THIS FOR IT IS THE PATH I HAVE MADE,
IM MY MIND THE EMOTIONS HAVE BEEN REPLAYED.
MAKING ME MORE CONFUSED THAN I'VE BEEN IN YEARS,
SHEDDING THOSE LOST AND FORGOTTEN TEARS.
YET TO HEAR HER VOICE FILLS ME WITH SUCH JOY,
TO SEE HER FACE MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A SCHOOL BOY.
HER TOUCH AND WARM EMBRACE MAKE ME ALL AGLOW,
WHICH I'VE ONLY FELT A FEW TIMES SINCE SO LONG AGO.
SINCE I LOCKED MY HEART UP WAY BACK WHEN,
PRAYING I'D NEVER HURT AND ACHE LIKE THIS AGAIN.
ALAS THE ACHING PAIN IS BACK AND ANEW,
ONCE AGAIN CAUSED BY THE LOSS OF YOU.

Alone

I wandered along for so many years, had some heartache and shed some tears.
Then I met you and it all became clear, I wanted to hold you oh so near.
To never let you out of my life, to one day have you for my wife.
But the dark day came and took it all away, and now the pain it seems is here to
stay.
Then one day came and you were there again, laughing, smiling and just being my
friend. We had a good time and had some fun, even though you were always on the
run.
Then you got cold and pulled away, and just like before it became a dark day.
You don’t even call me on the phone, so here I am again all alone....©

My Love

If ever I had a wonderful dream,
It would be to walk with you along a stream.
Just walking beside you holding your hand,
Across God’s great and beautiful land.
I wish for all men to envy me,
Because they have not and I have thee.
When we kissed for the first,
You quickly increased my youthful thirst.
You made my passion sore through the air,
As you ran your fingers through my hair.
Then I saw you reaction was the same,
So I knew that fate was to blame.
For if a man could find true happiness,
It would indeed be a great success.
If pleasures came to you like the rain,
There would be nothing in which to gain.
You came to me when I was in greatest need,
And you proved to be a friend indeed.
For when I needed someone to love,
You appeared as if upon the wings of a dove.
As if out of nowhere you came along,
Like the words from an old familiar love song.
