Friday

Today is Friday, YAH, YAH,
My feet have hit the floor
Up and ready for the day
Now i must leave out the door.

Going to the doc is must
Man i tell ya im a hot mess
I feel as if im old and full of rust
                              Thank God not another test.

I hope the sun shines so bright
It would help my day, and set my mood
Can't wait to see my baby tonight
No not my kid, my dude.

                                                                      Lavonne

My Friend

Today an old Friend came to see me
Got real excited when i heard the voice at the door,
                          wow could it realy be?
Man my mouth hit the floor!

Alot of time has passed us by,
                          Those arms wrapped around me
                          And those eyes found mine,
I said step back and let me see!!

Yep it's realy you, how the hell do u do?
He looked good as ever, and sound the same
And his pretty smile, well it lasted a while.
It took me back a few years, man we even shedded tears.

Buddy O' Pal forever in my heart u will stay
Your a great person in every evil lil way,
We need to talk like everyday!
I'll always be here even on the final day.

                                                                             LaVonne..

Nite Fall

As the sun sets and the moon showed it's face,
Wow reality sets in and the moods switch places.

It's so bizarre how the sunlight has a impact,
Not only on the earth but also in our mindlack
.
You thank our Dear Lord for all the days blessings,
Look at your children, and hope they took lessons.

It's a wicked world on the outside.
It kills the kids but still they abide.

I say life is not so bad and remember what i have,
as you sit and look so sad, i wonder are you mad.

Tomorrow is a new day, hope it a sunny one!
Openening the blinds was so much fun,
there it was my energy and my strength,
to pull me thru for last night was a full moon..

                                                                         Lavonne
