Lost

Very lost and weak,
Map or compass I should seek,
Where's my true North Star?

Artist

An artist am I,
Seeing more than meets the eye,
In ways, I can fly.

Yin and Yang

There is good in bad,
And the bad is in the good,
Yin and yang is here.

The Way My Sorrow Soars

Cutting and Slicing,
Through the wind my sorrow soars,
Letting it, no more.

Stars

Dark blankets the sky
Stars twinkle before my eyes
See diamonds tonight

Wholesomely Happy

I never before,
Have felt the way I do now,
Happiest I've been.

Immortal Beauty of Night

Air getting colder,
Day turning night,
The man in the moon smiles,
I see little twinkles of light.
The stars show a lion, huntress, and more,
The moon cotrols the tides,
Washing up on the shore.
Staring at the sky,
Wishing apon a star,
Looks very little here,
Because it's very, very far.
I watch as the immortal beauty of night takes over the lands,
Then the stars play tricks on my eyes,
And i fall into the Sandman's hands.

I See

I see
I see that kid in the corner of the orphanage with that pesky cleft lip that nobody
wants to call theirs.
I see his hope.
His sorrow.
His hatred.

I see
I see that poor woman down the street with that abusive husband that she never
tells anyone about.
I see her wishfulness.
Her cuts and bruises.
Her fear.

I see
I see that sad tree in the tropics with that blood-red X splashed across it waiting to
be cut down.
I see it's lost future.
It's homeless would've-been residents.
It's weakness.

I see
I see a world that needs to open their eyes. A world that has the choice to make a
difference but chooses poorly.
I see it's weakness and it's strength.
I see it's past and it's future.
I see it's healthy and it's ill.
But most of all,
I see it's problem and it's solution.

How To Hug

If you don't know how to hug,
then this is for you.
It is a rhyming guide to lead you through.

Hugging is simple you see...
Comes as naturally as ABC or 123.

First thing that you gotta do,
is to look at the person you are standing in front of.
This can determine if it is one that you love.

Second off, take a step forward you see.
Hopefully, they will mirror you if not,
then by all means,
Flee!

If you still need to continue,
then here's the next task.
Wrap both of your arms around them,
and make the hug last.

So now you know the steps of expressing your care.
But you must pass on you new knowledge,
for the whole world to share.

Masquerade

How do you do?
Would you like to dance?
Just take my gloved hand
And fall into my trance.
Questions apon questions
Of who you may be.
But don't say a word
Romance is a mystery.
Tuxes and gowns and elegancies
Masks and secrets and delicacies.
Champagne and laughter and ballroom dances
Untold lives and tales and one-last chances.
Out of the clear and into the blur
Don't know if it is she or her.
A feathered mask on fate's face
Only at the masquerade.
