ALWAYS
Every time I open my heart up it seems to get beat up.
Every time I try to love you more, my emotions continue stored.
Every time I want your affection, it seems to have protection.
Every time I want to spend time with you, there seems to be a reason to leave you.
Every time I see you, my heart beats faster but when I’m with you there is no
laughter.

Take me
Take me somewhere I’ll forget my lies, take me somewhere butterflies never die.
Take me somewhere I’ll be loved, somewhere I’ll be free like a dove.
Take me someplace they’ll be no war, take me far and from evil keep me stored.
Take me someplace where hearts don’t get broken, take me somewhere smiles cost
tokens.
Take me anywhere darkness doesn’t exist, take me somewhere I won’t slit my
wrists.
