Tired Words

My mind is haunted again.
By my poetry gnomes.
Plagued with imaginary men.
Filling up my empty homes.
Inside this head.
Chained to my mind.
Sleepless in a dirty bed.
Nothing redeemable to find.
No sympathy.
Nothing to care about.
Just my apathy.
But that's nothing to gloat about.
Looking up at the dusty walls.
Illusions and stones.
Watery graves of make believe falls.
Presence of my loans.
Offering to my sacrifice.
Piece of mind.
Seclusion - my only vice.
Within my images, I get intertwined.

November Moon

The amber ring around the moon.
Pollutants and dust.
A beautiful sight to which we swoon.
The color of an opaque rust.

It dances behind the clouds.
As if unforeseen.
The discoloring shrouds.
The unforgiving and clean.
Masquerading the truth behind.
What this really means.
That the mind.
Prefers it's fiends.

The amber ring that graces the moon.
Leaves what should be a graceful path.
But instead, told far too soon.
That we will feel everyone else's wrath.

Wrong

A sick addiction.
A moronic infatuation.
An idiotic restriction.
Grotesque laceration.

It's not safe to keep dreaming.
While fate hangs into my face, gleaming.
The tears from my eyes, streaming.
Locked within my own screaming.

An artificial love.
Sent from the Heavenly above.
Giving my faith something to shove.

It's wrong to like this.
Cutting away from this kiss.
Bleeding from the lips.
Inside these lonesome acid trips.

You're so bad and pure.
Your addiction gives you something to allure.
So loud, yet, still demure.
Do your drugs give you a cure?

Do you remember the way it used to be?
You and me.
So together and so free.
The truth can finally see.

Figment of my imagination, given to me, to fall.
To watch myself crawl.
While, you remained with with it all.

Aromatherapy

Rummaging incense
Floating swiftly in the air
Snuffed out in a wink

Teenage Wasteland

Tripping on acid
Erasing all the hope
Experimentation
Nobody seems to be listening
Aggravation towards family
Growth
Entering a world unknown

Wanting to feel loved
Abondonment
Scared of the future
Trying your hardest
Eager
Lost inside your own thoughts
Anarchy towards discipline
Nervous
Draining away all we thought we knew

Oh Poor Cable Man

Stomp Stomp
Why are stomping?
You don't even live here!
Mutter Mutter
Would you stop muttering?
It's not making yourself look too sane
Stomp Stomp Skip
Watch out for that boot toe
We wouldn't want you falling on your crazy face
Mutter Mutter Curse Word
Hey Hey now! Don't make me kick you
Do you think I like your butt being here? There are things to do
Stomp Stomp
Oh, now you want to talk decently?
"This should fix everything - You're getting an amplifier"
Mutter Mutter
Now it's I who is muttering
Disagreement This will work for a couple of days
Stomp Mutter
We're both unhappy
This relationship can't continue much longer
Mutter Stomp
Yes I guess I'll call you
See you next week. Buh Bye now
Stomp Stomp
Oh well hello! You're back
I was worried about you
Mutter Mutter
Hey Hey now! It's not my fault!
you work for them.

Tenses

Cracks in the broken glass.
Dust turns to ash.
Past, present, and future tense.
Why is it that nothing I ever say can make sense?
No one really knows me.
And yet, all I manage to do is nod my head and agree.

Petina rust in the brass.
The sun is gone within a flash.
What have I become?
Since when was pain the only thing I could welcome?
Probably when I lost everyone I knew.
When all I ever knew became a slew.
A mess of things that never make sense.
I'm caught in the past tense.

Emotions harsh and crass.
Finding some glass to smash.
So I could relieve the pain.
The insanity of being sane.
All I'll ever be to you is a slacker drop out.
To you, I'm just a dumb lout.
So tell me why no one knows me.
And why I can only agree.

Monkey Flower

My little monkey flower
why are you crying?
Why are you so sad?
Sure things might not be the best
but they aren't that bad
I know you're hurting on the inside
you think I don't understand
how could I?

My little monkey flower
please don't hide your tears
that just makes it hurt so much more
when you finally them go
I know the world may be moving too fast
you can't seem to catch up
I promise that it'll soon slow down

Monkey Flower, you silly little girl
just think of how strong you will be
once this whole stage is is through
I promise you'll find a different
brighter side to you
But for now, I understand
you must cry your tears
My little monkey flower

The Accusation In Answers

we are worn glass;
lungs shorn to a staple
of grammatical haste
that worsens when
inhaled by smoke.

He tells me:
believe in ghosts,
and always let
pride supersede you.

but I don't have much
faith to those
that only tell me
that time is ticking
right underneath rib bones
and cigarettes.

There's no lines
to read between,
and I lied when I said
it was fine, and okay.

He says:
you're a cheater.

And I simply say,
tell me you weren't asking for it.

Hybrid Beauty

Black and gold roses

                                                 Not natural in nature

                                                But common in stores
