I am the ghost who follows you
Though you know me not at all
I always have and will always be
There to catch you when you fall
I love you more than life itself
But you love life too dear
So I''ll stay back and be content
To catch your every tear
You dream of love and happiness
And wish upon a star
I love you so, but still I know
I''ve no place in your heart
So I will love and die in vain
Be your forever friend
Just know that you will still be loved
Until the very end
