Dance In the Rain

There you go again crying in the rain.
You pour your heart out and your tears
fall like raindrops from heaven.
You turn away from this world and
contented yourself with isolation.

The rain became your refuge,
your only friend.

If only you have looked back.

I was there crying with you in the rain,
the sole witness of the tears you have shed.
The one who's dying to reach you within
those walls you have built around you.

There I go again running in the rain.
For this heart constantly cries and goes to
the past that was us,
And memories became my only friend in isolation.

The rain hid my tears,
And I pretended to enjoy the droplets hitting my face.

If only you have reached for my hand.

I was just there patiently waiting,
For you to see, to feel
that I'm crying for us.

But then,
the rain may have been too loud,
for you to hear the sound of my tears
falling in the ground.

Thoughtless

Starry nights remind me of
those time
we stay up all night
waiting for shooting stars
to weave our dreams with,
those times when your love
is unceasingly flowing
like the river
and that
holding hands seem
the only thing that matters
in this world,
those were
perfect moments I
thought would last
but then
Van Gogh must be right
to paint the stars with
shades of blue and gray
for you have left me
with tears
and broken promises
and I will forever wonder
if wishes
under shooting stars
do really come true.

Checkered

I tried to regain whatever
it is that remained from
the shattered glasses
that broke the stillness
of that night.

I tried to smile again
and forget about everything
that makes this heart go into a
place
where butterflies flutter in the
breeze.

I tried to forget about
that day when the rain didn't
stop falling
just when you decided not to
come.

Time will pass.
The white statues by the park
will crumble but not
the memories of the walks we
have spent there.

Time will pass.
I wish our memories would too.

One Minute

If you should ever return
with promises
of long walks and holding hands,
with the thought
that your heart would cease beating
without my lips
kissing yours,

Then I surrender
this soul
to the journey
of our forever.

If for one moment
you remembered
the rain and the tears
shared in this tragedy
of long ago,
and woke up with dreams
of me
chasing you along the secret spaces
of heaven we shared,

Then I'd cease to believe
in broken promises
in rain-soaked tears
cried for you
and the darkness
you shaped around us,
and in everything sad,
like the moon
during my desolate walks
without us.

If
for one minute,
your heart would beat for me
again,
then this lifetime would be
that minute of forever.

Pink

The fleeting image of everything
I thought existed.
The void of nothingness
You belong to.
Blue remains where pink once
breathed.

Mystic

I cannot fathom the ecstasy
nor the pain that your being
has bore into mine.
It is like the bottomless pit
that sinners fear when existence
ends and immortality proceeds.
With you, i am like a child cupping my hands
hoping to catch a droplet from
the grace of heaven.

My love, my deepest desire.
It is I who spends my slumber
only dreaming of you.
It is I that joins the night
my being engulfed in darkness.
It is you that makes everyday of
my waking hour
both
of life and death.

My mystery, my agony.
Tell me, how can this cursed heart
get over the spell that you have casted?
Tell me, how can this drowned soul
recover from the waves that you have
so graciously splashed me.

My love, my forever.
It is I whose being will not cease
to try to make your soul to twitch for me.
It is you who I offer my shooting stars to.
My love, my forever.
My deepest desire who can never be mine,
this soul departs from the mysteries of this
union.
This heart will seek the answers to the enigma
I have kept within the portals of me for so long.
I am forever indebted to the memories of you.
For with you, I have unearthed the magic of
shooting stars, of love
and of learning how to love.

Moonlight Bliss

Sadness overflows
glorifying this time
when the sun loses
its battle over the
night.
When this heart
feels devoid of
anything happy and
the light of
this being loses
its battle over the
night.

Tonight,
I feel you slipping
away into the darkness
of this moment.
Still,
I will wait for you
to emerge in the
stillness of this night.

Blue

Unparalleled
Twisted
A mirage of everything
You wished to hide from you.
The daunting throbs of
pain breaks into every mesh
of guilt and delusion that you
have built around you.

You must be silent.

The mystery that exists
Yet dies
with every uttered sigh of
regret.
The hidden breaks free
Yet unanswered.

You must still be silent.

Comrade

You're wounded yet you stand
oblivious of the blood gushing forth
taking every ounce of your strength
but still you fight.
They wonder my friend,
why you chose to live with
red flags rather than white.

Show them your hands
that cracked from tilling
the earth.
Reveal to them the sufferings
and pains you endure
on the hands of your
adversaries.

point to them the ground
where they kicked you,
where they have
trampled upon every inch
of your dignity.

Now, maybe they'll understand
why you chose to carry
that red flag.
