Running

I'm running...
Running away from life.
Running toward light.
Running away from darkness,
Running, running, running.
Away from everything.
Everything makes me run.... but, you.
You keep me sane, in an insane world.
You make me want to walk,
In a world that makes me run.

Life, Love, Hope

Life, love, and hope

What are they really?

Life is lost and found.

Same with love and hope.

But, what are they really?

Well, I can tell you what life and hope are.

But, love you have to find yourself.

Don’t give up, if you try.

Just keep asking yourself the question,

“What is love, really?”

And you’ll find it some day.

Sometimes Life Sucks

Sometimes life sucks,

and yeah it hurts

but, that will never change.

So, do the tasks of life,

and beat the challenges,

God throws,

and remember,

God never said life would be easy,

he just said it would be worth while.

I'Ve Been Known To

I've been known to scream at thunder.

I've been known to cry when nothing upsets me.

I've been known to dance in the rain.

I've been known to scream random things.

I've been known to break up with someone, just to cry.

I've been known to laugh at nothing.

I've been known to dance in a funny manner.

I've been known to sing random tunes.

I've been known to trip over my own two feet.

I've been known to eat strange things.

I've been known to talk to my cat, and

I've been known to lay awake at night...

Thinking of you.

I Sat,,,

I sat… still as a cold stone wall

I was there

In the golden woods

A world of the unknown.

 I sat…

With my gun as black as night

As a graceful tawny doe ran by

I sat…

As I shot it

It flinched and its spirit fled

So I sat…

On the warm golden forest floor

And cried.

This is my first poem!! Please, tell me what you think.

Life Itself

The world is bad,

Cold, hard, bad.

Life is good,

But, not like this.

Evil people doing evil things.

But, the good is not seen,

Because all the bad overrides all good.

So, no one sees the good,

But, the ones who do it.

And that is….

Life itself.

Self Entitlement

Self entitlement is the bane of issues
etched in stone
hand written
in times of great happiness
sadly in great times of more bleak emotions
our self given self entitled righteousness
is stripped clean and drug through the mud
leaving us empty and cold
thirsting for things we cannot have
this is the lose of our sanity at the beginning of the end

All Together

Some people are loners,

Lone wolves, alone.

I used to be like that,

But, now I have you.

I have friends too,

And if we work together, all together

I won’t die,

I won’t be sad,

I won’t be alone.

If we work,

All together

Up and Down

The idea that you would stay is ubsrud.

Your true ways I didn't see before... are wrong.

Now I'm not being left behind...

I'm leaving you behind...

Good-bye, bad-guy.

And don't come back,

Or your gonna have a broken nose...

To match your up and down broken heart.

Leaving

Why do you hurt me?

You’re jealous of me? Can’t be.

It’s impossible to be nice to me?

I….hurt him? I don’t like the sound of that.

If I leave him will you leave me be?

I can’t keep hurting everyone I meet.

I love him but, if to help I must go….

Then I’ll do it.

It will hurt me but, to help I must go.

“Don’t cry. I love you.” You say?

I have to go. I love you, too and this is what…

I’m doing to prove…

I love you more than my own feelings.
