Here Come the Deer

HERE COME THE DEER.
i sit in my stand so patient and verry still.
when the wind blows it hits my body and gives me a chill.
i hear the leafs russel and the falling twigs snap.
i look and i wait for them to fall right into my trap.
i cant help but think how great this feels
i just cant explain it to anyone other than its unreal.
the sound grows closer but nothing in sight.
i look out my scope but with no sun there is no light.
i wait even longer now and thats just fine.
i am waiting for that big buck , the wone with the two drop tines.
here comes this huge white tail so i take a deap breath of air.
i staead my aim for this might be my only chance this year.
i ask god to help steady my aim.
if i miss this one only myself can i blame.
i draw the sight close to my my eye.
for if this deer isnt shot all will say i tell a lie.
i pull the triger and hope for the best.
how im so happy now i have a deer hunting story to tell all the rest.

Snake River

snake river
snake river is where i want to go.
in the middle of hells canyon where freely the water flows.
lay me to rest where its so beautiful to see.
all of nature free as it should be.
sprinkle my ashes and like a bird set my spirit free.
now when you see a leaf flow dow stream you can think of me.
i am loved so much that i was brought back home.
i love you all so much you will never be alone.
thank you so much for helping my journey end.
can not wait for us to be together again.
you all have traveled so very long
i am so greatful to you cause now i sing my lovely song.
thank you and trully i love you all.
now trully forever i am bullet proof and ten feet tall.

Her

Lord please don’t take her i need her here.
She’s one of few who bring me cheer.
She makes me smile like no one else can.
You should see what she does with a steak in her cast iron pan.
I need her more than you will ever know.
With her kiss like the sun she makes my face glow.
If you need her i can’t be mad.
As long as you and her know I’ll miss her bad.
I’ll hold her hand and never leave her side.
Our love for each other will always be tied.
Lord i love her and she is what makes me strong.
Even today we still slow dance to our favorite slow song.
I must not be selfish and keep her for just me.
For i know she will be happy when your face she shall see.
Dear lord i ask this prayer with eyes full of tears.
I truly am thankful to you for all these great years.
If you need her please help me be strong.
If you don’t need her right now can she stay a little while longer?
Lord can you let her dance one last dance again?
And lord i thank you for taken the time to hear
Me and one last thing love you lord.
Amen.

Road One Hundred and Ten

today i saw A white car with big antennas in the back
Out stepped a man in a uniform of blue and black
He knew my name as if I have seen him before
My heart had sank to the floor
He said my name is officer green
I was the first to arrive on the scene
My hands were shaken,my legs wouldn’t stand
I had to sit down clinch to my wedding band
I closed my eyes and hoped for the best
My heart felt like it was going to pound right through my chest
Officer green said I’m so deeply sorry to meet you like this
He said its not easy for me to say as he clinched his wrist
You could see him swallow then take a deep breath of air
Officer said my intentions today was not to bring anyone despair.
I finally asked him if he would just say what he needed to say
my nerves are shot and with my emotions you cant play
Officer said there was a wreck and I did what I could
But he didn’t make it and I deeply hopped he would
I looked at officer green;my eyes filled with a tear
Told him my world is flipped ,my husband is no longer here
No more late movies or holding each other in the dark
no more afternoon picnics after a stroll in the park
I told him our anniversary was just around the corner you see
Its just not fair his life and mine have been taken from me
Officer said sorry is there anything you would like me to do
I was so upset I screamed BRING MY HUSBAND BACK WOULD YOU
down on my knees crying you must have it wrong
the last thing he said is I love you honey I wont be gone for long
Reality sank in but it took quite a while
My husband is gone its true there’s no more denial
Officer green gave me his card said don’t hesitate to call if a need arise
my heart goes out to you and I will listen to all your cries
Officer said I am not suppose to hug you but going to instead
You are my mom I love you hope you don’t blame me cause dad is dead
I made sure I was the officer to tell you so it might maybe give a little ease
Mom even though I am an officer tell me it is ok to cry please
Mom I wish my visit was just to sit and talk
It is the hardest thing ever harder than learning to walk
Mom I know I am an officer and suppose to stay tough
dad died in my arms mom ,that hurts my days ahead rough
My shift is over mom I will be here and stay by your side
Mom I know dad is in heaven waiting to see his son and lovely bride
Now as you drive along road one hundred and ten
You will see a fathers and husbands cross standing just around the bin

Six Year Olds Prayer

A SIX YEAR OLDS PRAYER.

Dear God do you know who I am.
I am possibly your biggest and youngest fan.
I am not that old and I’m only six.
I know with you anything can be fixed.
This year has been hard so my parents have said.
Mom and Dad cry cause there is not enough food to be fed.
My Dad stresses and says its just not fair.
He’s worried so much he is losing his hair.
I went to the doctor a lot this year .
Mom and Dad said there is no need to fear.
The doctor tells them it’s the worst they have ever seen.
He said it was cancer, God what does that mean.
Does that mean I have been bad or done something wrong.
Does it hurt god, if so for how long.
They give me treatment and lots of people pray.
I get lots of hugs from people that don’t know what to say.
Mom says that you have my lost hair.
I know why ,its cause your making me the softest and the best teddy bear.
Here it is Christmas time once again.
We opened our gifts and everyone cried when they saw my cheesy grin.
God I know you are not Santa but can I ask you for a gift from you.
Its just a small thing I would like from you.
Can you give my parents strength when you call my name.
Cause I know their life will be different and never the same.
It’s the only gift I want and nothing else.
Please God remember its for my parents and not for myself.
I’m really tired God sorry I have to go.
I love you God I am thankful that you already know.
So I will say goodnight and I will talk to you again.
And most of all thanks for everything God.
Love you forever.
AMEN.

Jessus and I Phone

IF JESUS HAD AN IPHONE.

If Jesus had an I phone how many apps. Would there be.
It would have to be a huge phone I do believe.
Could you imagine getting a text from Jesus saying sorry I missed your call.
I have just been busy playing this game baseball.
In a world full of technology and being built on speed.
How are all of us so quick to pick up a text but the bible is to hard to read.
If Jesus had an I phone would he be texting saint Peter when we call out his name.
Asking saint Peter hey did you happen to catch last nights saints and angles game.
Would we be upset if Jesus would talk to Gabriel but ignore our call.
How could we be upset when even without a phone some of us ignore gods call.
If Jesus had an I phone how many numbers would there be.
Who would be on speed dial would it be you or you or even me.
In a world today where our phones become our heart.
We all should just slow down but where or even how do we start.
We all have a direct line with Jesus and its not a phone or something high tech.
We only have to open our hearts and talk to Jesus he is always there and never has a voicemail to check
Jesus has answered our prayers without ever having some fancy phone.
So next time in church and once a day can we turn off our own.

Man Without a Face

THE MAN WITHOUT A FACE
Here I am, the man with out a face.
I have no face for you to laugh at.
No face so I can't see your smirk.
I have no mouth to speak my mind.
I am the man without a face.
I am the man that you see as a disgrace.
I was left alone at the age of one.
Because a man without a face doesn't want to be seen with anyone.
The man without a face can't cry.
The man without a face just wonders why.
In my mind I try to see.
I try to see if I had a face where would my life be.
How I wish I had tears.
How I wish I never had these fears.
I am the man without a face.
So I'll just move away.
Here I am, the man without a face.
And I won't even say goodbye.
I'll just ask why

First Daughter

I remember the first day i saw your blue eyes.
you gave me such a big hug as i told you and and your mom love you guys.
as time went on you called me dad.
then and there i had the biggest smile because i was so glad.
you are my first daughter its true.
because of you my life started brand new.
your so beautiful and so special to me.
i am glad you are my daughter and all can see.
you are my first daughter no one can say other wise.
if they try to say im wrong i will tell them prove it go ahead and try.
my first daughter how you light up my day.
because of you thanks to god i must say.
every night i say a prayer before i sleep.
i thank god for creating you and being mine to keep.
my first daughter and for you theres nothing i wont do.
all you have to say is dad please and look at me with your eyes so blue.
thank you for being the first daughter i have ever had.
you make my life and the world a better place and im glad.
thank you again my very first daughter for all you say and do.
even when im old and grey i will still love you like i now do.
this is true.
first daughter i love you.

DAD COME BACK.

WHERE DID YOU GO WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME ALONE.
ITS NOT FAR ALL MY FRIENDS HAVE A DAD ALL TO THEIR OWN.
DONT YOU LOVE ME OR DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG.
WHY WONT YOU STAY AND SING ME A BEDTIME SONG.
WONT YOU BE THERE WHEN I HAVE MY NIGHT CRY.
PLEASE DAD COME BACK DONTE MAKE MY LIFE A QUESTION OF WHY.
DONE YOU WANT ME TO GROW UP TO BE JUST LIKE YOU.
IF YOU LEAVE HOW CAN I FOLLOW IN YOUR SHOES.
I PROMISE DAD I WILL ALWAYS BE GOOD.
I WILL DO WHATEVER A LITTLE GIRL SHOULD.
WONT ASK FOR ALLOWANCE OR FANCY TOYS.
IF ITS BECAUSE IM A GIRL I WILL EVEN ACT LIKE ALL THE BOYS.
ITS NOT FAR MOM AND I ARE ALONE AND VERY SAD.
JUST WANT YOU TO BE HERE WITH US AND WERE NOT MAD.
PLEASE PLEASE WONT YOU COME BACK AND TUCK ME INTO BED.
OR READ ME A STORY AND KISS MY ON MY FORHEAD.
I WILL WAIT FOR YOU AND I PRAY YOU WILL BE BACK WHEN THE SON COMES OUT.
I LOVE YOU DAD PLEASE BE HERE I WAKE UP AND GOOD MORNING I SHOUT.
SO TONIGHT I CLOSE MY EYS AND LAY IN MY BED.
I FALL ASLEEP WITH A DREAM OF YOU HUGS IN MY HEAD.
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE.
GOOD NIGHT DAD AND FOREVER IM YOURS NO MATTER HOW FAR.

Whispers For Nana

whispers for nanna and we whisper so quietly so.
dont worry mama wont hear through the bathroom window.
can you hear us whisper we love you so dear.
nana please come inside and bring us cheer.
whispers for you of our plans and dreams.
nana hold our hands and become part of our team.
nana hear our whispers we want you to come in and play.
nana please remember our whispers throughout the day.
whispers for nana sissy and i hope you will hear.
can you hear our whispers behind our fear.
take our hands and listen to our whispers and we will lead you to a smile.
oh nana if we ask you please can you come over and stay a while.
room full of whispers you can see the words written on the wall.
whispers of thanks and love for always answereing our phone call.
this time nana our whispers turn to yells.
we dont care who hears cause we have something to tell.
we love you nana and always will no matter what.
thanks for listening to the whispers and keeping your heart open, not shut.
our whispers are over cause its time for bed.
love you nana keep our whispers dancing in your head.
