Tiananmen Square

He stands before the giant tank,
until it halts,
and then, like a goliath,
climbs aboard,
and to the solider whispers,
peace.

Self Love

In the deepest hollow of my soul,
self love waits.
To be discovered, to be affirmed, to be embraced.
I wait for the journey to begin.
Will my consciousness accept,
this love that begs to be released?
I've grown impatient,
I do so want that love,
to fill my empty heart.

Kites

Kites dancing on an ocean breeze,
fingers tugging at the strings,
navigating the heavens,
as we race across the sand.
A symphony of sound fills the air,
a rhythmical greeting of the sea,
upon the shore.
Unfurling skyward,
a celebration of colors,
the sunsets brilliance,
reflecting nature's exquisite pagent.
We witness the universe's kiss goodnight.
