Hopeless Chemistry

Into your heart, a hopeless race.
Do you feel what I feel within?
Our chemistry could blow this wretched place.

Every time I see your face,
My broken dreams come easy then.
Into your heart a hopeless race.

Its closing in, I have no space.
The look on your face, that grin.
Our chemistry could blow this wretched place.

Fingers tied together like lace,
Our love would be the perfect sin.
Into your heart, a hopeless race.

A heart of love I’d trace,
Just so your love I’d win.
Our chemistry could blow this wretched place.

I don’t want to be second place,
Or a could have been.
Into your heart a hopeless race,
Our chemistry could blow this wretched place.

The Stage

I come from the world,
of the misunderstood.
Where feelings and emotions,
Always have to be good.

I come from a place,
Filled with smiles and expression.
Not one lousy day…
Can cause any depression.

I come from the stage,
where you always raise the bar.
Just a great face and smile,
Will get you far.

A stage is isn’t just a place where people perform,
Because behind what you see…there is so much more.
