Poetry!

Poetry is life's sonnets

Sung in tunes of the beating heart

Through pleating words of wisdom

Into a lace of pearls

Every kind of poetry

May be romantic; idealistic; realistic

Thus;

Pinches the inner senses

and kindles the spirituality

In every soul

In one way or other

Ultimately!

Nothing More! Nothing Less!

Cool monsoon evening
Tender cold breeze!

Still dark clouds on the western horizon
In the back drop of the factory chimney
And the crest of the church and temple!
In a perfect silhouette!

Chirping home bound birds
Bleating goats on the mud hills
The whistling passing train at a distance!

Occasional cold swirling winds
Beats the window shutters
and
Brings
The odor of pollens and petals of flowers
And burning smell of rubber scrap!

The plunged darkness behind me
Added perfect contrast
Of the vivid nature outside!

The prolonged silence in the ambience
And the loneliness in my life;
Making my mood to swing to the nature
With no friend or foe around me
Except
the hot cup of tea beside me!

I just slide on the window shutter
Seeing GOD everywhere!
But resigned my self to my loneliness!
yet;
With content in life;
For what I had
I have
And be;

Deriving every pleasure
From every whisper and fragrance
Passing through the window!
Fleeting my ears and cheeks!
Drop of showers
Trickling my hands!

Praying GOD
To upkeep this
Just ambience
For ever till me!

Nothing more
Nothing less

Yesterday, To-Day, Tomorrow!

Yesterday in our Minds

Today in our Eyes

Tomorrow in our Hopes

Creation in Merry Go Round

GOD sitting pretty

On the LEAD HORSE!

'back To Life'

It was raining then with showers sweeping the town

With cool droplets driven by the breeze panning from dawn to dusk!

Prickling my lips my eyebrows my cheeks

Swinging my memories from butterflies of the yore!

Around my elementary school of age

Every fresh drop of rain smells as fresh as new earth

Tastes as sweet as nectar of the core!

Come Monsoon each time quiver each cell in me,

Kindles every memories in deep

Brings back my bygone smells of broken pencils,

Tender sweats, wonder scent of girl friends of mine

Each year each monsoon I grow year young by year young

I grow year after year; in leaps and bounds

in a hurry younger and younger

Close to my school close to my habitats close to my town

Like in a man machine, but in a memoirs machine

Back to life!

Time Less 'Time'

Yesterday’s truth
To days fallacy!

Flat Earth;
Revolving Sun;

To day’s truth
Tomorrow’s fallacy!

Big Bang
Dark Matter;

The Past is Future
The Future is Past
In between
There appears to be a Present
For a moment;

But;

The eternal Truth
Remain true for ever
Before;
During;
After
And for ever!

The Niraakara
Nirguna
BRAHMA!

Is a Spiral
It’s Tail in its own Mouth!

No Beginning
No End!

But keeps
Us showing all!
As if there is

TIME!

Naughty Knot

Naughty Knot!

Tail in Mouth
End in Beginning
The Spiral; Deep obscurity!
Depth in light years
Death is oblivious
Birth is blindfolded

But
Life is cognizant

For eternity
This Mystery
Is enigmatic!

It Was Too Late Then

t was too late then!

When I loved you I ought to have loved you then and there!

But I dreamt a while, floated in cloud

Gathered a flower of lily or two, travelled through my own time

But;

It was too late then;

I reached the summit

Thanked God and Moon on that full Moon Day

Cursed the chillness around in the lake,

Far away in urban jungle, far away from the maddening lights

The floating fog in the fading dusk

Washed my car comfortably

Wiped my shivering fingers off

Tucked my t shirt inside the blue jeans

Left the leather belt dangling in a hurry

No man around, no breath around

But chirping birds in the distance clouds

But forgot to check my heart for its beats

My love was deep asleep by then

By then it was too late;

Here where I failed to connect

The body and soul-the life and death

If I was alive I would have dead by now

Since not, I am immortal now

I am floating around

I see me sleeping in the car seat sitting pretty

So serene, so calm so peaceful

I ought to have loved you then and there!

With courage and conviction!

My Besttttt Friend! Who Left Such a Pain In My Heart!

My friend!

As the kids say in the TV ad

My bestttt friend!

But;

He left a twinge in my heart
Before he departed
He gave no sign of no-return!

I sit in my terrace alone
Feeling that loneliness
A deep inside silence
That he left on my surroundings
That he wounded on my heart
Still aching and not able to come to terms
Not able to reconcile myself;
The vacant chair before me
Revives my pain in my heart

The silence in the ambience
Fears my feelings further

The sounds generated by my family and my pet
Makes no consolation makes no concession

My family is around taking care of me
Getting my coffee getting my supper
On time on demand
But I sit in my chair
Staring at stars!
Finishing small after large after small and on!

But some vacuum feeling is squeezing my heart
Some frustration some helplessness
Is chasing me from dawn to dusk

That vacant chair before me!
Causing pain in my heart

Those were the evenings
We spent moments of
Sharing laughing politics
Current affairs, movies and families!
Wealth and health!

He too was irresponsible
He left that pain in my heart
He left such a vacuum for all

He ought to have taken care of his heart
but
he allowed it to block;
and left a pain in our hearts! Forever!

Happy New Year Yet Again 2011

Yet another new year -in

Another bad year –down

The last ‘day ‘going down on the west

Let’s cheer each other for a sunny new year ahead

New sun to appear on the east next morning

Let’s gather and cheer each other to night

On the terrace of the urban jungle

On the back drop of the mustard dusk on the west

The raging dust on the east

The home bound birds in the sky

The jingling cattle’s on the earth

Preparing ourselves for the party

Over a drink or over a prayer

Does not matter

But let‘s sip optimism’ to night

And leave the rest to fate or almighty

We are but sure, it’s not going to be all roses ahead

For the rule of the nature

We are but sure it’s all going to be the “hope” all ways

For the mind of the mankind!

We dance, we shout, we cry, we laugh

Tired, then,

 We down ourselves on the floor

Tired through the years

Leaving the rest on Almighty

Another year to wait for celebration

Another year to lead the life ahead

Resting our poise on God

To set the alarm as usual

On the next first day of hope

Once again!

Happy New Year!
