Dead Inside

Verse one:
Walking corpses
through downtown streets.
The dead always
seem to drag their feet.
Hide in shadows
of city lights.
Stumble through cornfields
late at night.
Consuming potions
in every form.
To numb the hurt
from the day before.
Hide in taverns
under neon lights.
Stumble through alleys
late at night.
Chorus:
We are all dead inside.
Hollow shells filled with flies.
No need to speak a lie.
We are all dead on the inside.
Verse two:
Dreading sunrise
and what that brings.
The world always
seems to only sting.
Hide in fortresses
without lights.
Stumble through darkness
the soul's black night.
Walking corpses
through downtown streets.
The dead always seem
to drag their feet.
Hide in torment
late at night.
Stumble through life
without a light.
Chorus:

Down Hearted

I know that there is something
you have on your mind.
why don't you tell me
exactly what's wrong?
I know that you suffer
pretend to be strong.
Crashing and burning
your wings fall apart.
Can't help but to notice
your eyes show the pain.
You wrestle with notions
that make you insane.
You stare at the curtains.
You stare at the floor.
So we look into nothing
that's shown from the door.
We ask cause we to
to help find a cure.
It's not a bother
just talk when you can.

Determination

I've pushed,
with everything I've got.
I've fought,
 through the pain,
without giving up
I've tried,
when there wasn't
a reason to.
I've lost
but somehow made it through.
I won't,
give up without a fight.
I'll take,
whatever life can throw.
I'll push,
til the sun falls,
from the sky.
I'll live,
for me and no one else.

I Am Just His Wife

Although I have his heart,
She courses through his veins.
She is his first love.
How can I compete?
How can I compare to the woman,
who stole his life?
I am his wife,
but my Love's obsessed with another.
He's sick without her.
I am just his wife.
How could I hope to compare,
with the woman who gives him
such a miserable life?
I am just his wife

Awakening

I can remember every time
I've watched the sun rise.
Each time so much
different from the last.
The awakening of the world,
the pulse of it all,
always the same.
I can feel the rumble of her heart
beat right through me.
Oh how I cherish
these moments of peace.

Dance With Me

From the moment I saw you,
I knew it was love.
Your embrass only proved me right.
No one in the world,
Could compare with your grace,
I am yours and everyone knows it.
We have danced on mountain tops,
and we have crawled through the valleys.
Together we fought in the war.
Somewhere along the way,
I lost your hand,
and you slipped back into the darkness.
I see you down there,
One foot in the grave,
with your eyes turned up to the sun.
I'll wait for you here,
on top of this hill,
please just try to make it.
The music is playing,
can you hear it my dear?
I need you to be my partner.

She Could Have Been

She had something special.
Something she just couldn't see.
Something inside that kept her alive.
Something she just couldn't free.

She had something special.
Something the whole world could see.
Something inside that kept them alive.
Something that turns like the sea.

She could have been a doctor.
A noblemen or a priest.
The way she heals the masses,
She could have been a mystic.

She has something special.
Something she gives for free.
Something inside that's kept her alive.
Something I wish were in me.

She has something special.
Something the whole world can see.
Something inside that keeps us alive.
Something we wish she could see.

Chorus From Self Appreciation

I only really matter to me.
I only see what I see.
Nothing will get to close to me.
To cut me down and make me bleed.
Nothing really matters to me.
I'm looking but I just can't see.
Why nothing gets close to me.
Just cuts me down to watch me bleed.

Choices

Verse one:
Faced with a decision to choose this or that.
Presented with an option where I can't go back.
Not really sure I've taken the right path.
when karma returns will she bite me back.
Come seeking vengeance or just pat my back.
I've made this choice,
Now I abide by it.
Chorus:
I must choose correctly,
So that I don't fail.
I must choose correctly,
Between heaven and hell.
If I choose correctly,
I won't suffer fate.
I must choose correctly,
Before it's too late.
Verse two:
Stuck with the consequences each time I act.
Tucked in a bed, I've made for myself.
See only I have this chance to choose right.
I carve out my own path.
I must think it over, before I hit the gas.
Decide with my whole heart, or be unmasked.
Consider it carefully, before I make my move.
Chorus:
I must choose correctly
I must choose correctly

Untitled2

I fear I might never get out of this place.
That I've fallen too far behind in this race.
No matter what I do I just get mud in my face.
Am i just too weird to exit with grace?
