Yusuf Bada Poem
I pledge to Africa, my continent
Where the sun does not rise or rest
I'm proud to be color of her heritage
I pledge to uphold her cultural prestige
Gliding is the epitome of her beauty
That makes her glow like sunray
People came together like frothy of palmwine
Where the sun decide to smile
Where the earth will never open it mouth
Where heaven and earth collaborate
Where palmwine is serve for unity
Land of peace, land of humanity
Where the dead hide their faces
I'll contribute my quota to her continuous success
Oh Africa! I'm proud to be your child
Africa of treasure land
God bless Africa,
Africa, my Africa

Yusuf Bada Poem
My heart, it is night
The birds had silent in their nest
Do not love the one
Love the heart that loves you alone
Do not think of a choice of flower
Alas! mosquitoes noisy my ear
Sleep,let me have another dream
Peace, your condition is troublesome
Another dream may bring you joy
Do not get stubbornness of melancholy
Sleep, let the stars melt to give you light
Light that will cure your health
Sleep, let the mosquitoes noisy for rubbish
Let me be impassive like a bush
I can not spy in the dark
Though, I pledge to give you what you like
Oh lord, cool my soul
Let my heart cool my soul
What is the sweetness of love?
When our soul is running toward grave.
