The Ends of the Earth

Pink Roses of Sharon
hugging the streetlamp
The blue sky with
sand texturred clouds
is like a reflection
of water and the beach
An oasis of green grass...
with pink, orange, red and yellow
Mums floating like waterlilies
in the green water...
Birds stop and fly
land and fly
staying close to earth
to forage for food
Green leaves that turned
yellow - then turned gold
Like a door
The Gates of Heaven
await the winter
when all leaves
and blossoms die
When nature shows
our true colors...
If we blossom eternally
or sear in hell
All shining like a mirror
to the almighty...

The Jaguar

The Jaguar has
exquisite spotted
markings...
He roars,
flies,
jet swims,
No wonder
a prestigious
car is
named for
him...
But he
has no
presitge...
but,
extinction...

Same old
reasons...
He's
really
remarkable...

I hear
his
cries
for
help?

Stillness

The lotus flower
our inner soul
lies at the bottom
of the crystal, clear lake

Focus on the stillness
look straight down
to the bottom
See past the flesh

Past the surface
see our love
connection to each
other's heartbeat

The individual life
contains vibrancy
and joy of living
a bright, gleaming presence

We need to see
our fellow humans
in this inner state -
to feel their essence

To learn to love them,
get to know them,
touch their wisdom
truth and being.

Feel their dreams
all their visions,
they ponder with knidness
Their true nature

On the bottom
of the lake
As the fish swim
And the birds fly...

We too live our lives
with oneness,
with spirituality
of our inner and higher self

All the great knowledge,
of our inner glows
our higher purpose
remains deep in our hearts

forever...

My Memories of Jfk

John Jack Kennedy
was as brilliant as could be
A studied Harvard graduate
A navy hero of the sea

He was from Massachusetts
A lover of the dunes
and used to walk beside them
on summer afternoons

He was a much loved President
His spoken word was magic
I never did understand why
his ending was so tragic

I can remember him so clear
but time flies quickly by
I remember Jackie's pill box hat
John-John and Caroline

It is a shame that violence
brought his colorful life to end
the Kennedys' profiles in courage
were an absolute Godsend

There is so much happiness
around JFK's short term
His fun sense of humor
A smart, well read bookworm

We all will never forget him
Those of us who loved him so
The articulate, animated speeches
The radiant look he'd always showr

I believe in healing and want to learn more about it
I belive in following the laws
I believe in a universe we go to after death
I believe we will all be contained in this universe
I believe in truth, harmony and freedom of thought
I believe in treating every person with kindness and compassion
I believe in being non judgmental

Christmas Under the Sky

I watch the teary, misty rain
as the torrents of wind
move against the grey blackness
Stroking my pet cat
with her indistinct, blurry
message that's always tuned into
the joyful, sounding music of the universe

My heart yearning for a better love life
I think about the loves gone by
Memories of all I loved coming back to me
The undying love for my mother
sick and frightened
I exchange the calming, nurturing lilies
in her garden

Golden rhythms bring me peace within
the softness of the morning hours brings
an intense love and spirit of the giving season
hopefully more of kindness and unconditional
love than of material burdens and manipulations
I feel happiness suddenly - seeing the
blues in the greys that turn angelic white
understanding the message of life

Soothing and unexpected excitements
dreams of success in all the
fragments of being bringing together
the whole, inspired miracle
the magic and enchantment
Letting go of the stress
and going with the flowing light and love
bringing peace to calamity
of my soul and restoring it to
everything beautiful
