Life

Everyone puts up a happy face,
But who really knows what's their case.
Nobody has a perfect life,
People all over the world have strife.
Sometimes it seems like you are all alone,
But close friends can be your back bone.
When your getting ready to fall,
Sometimes it's okay to bawl.
Crying doesn't mean your bad,
It's just a way to let God know your sad.
Saddnes can always heal,
Because many people know how you feel.
There are people with harder lives then yours,
But different struggles open closed doors.
Things will get better in the end,
With the help from a good friend.

Every Little Thing

I've never met anyone like you, I absolutely love everything you do. You have such a great head on your shoulder, The choices you make will help you when you're older. Starting from how you do your school work, To treating my friends the complete opposite of a jerk. You have always been one to make me smile, I knew our friendship would last a while. I love how we can be together for hours, Even when we get sweaty and have to take showers. Listening to Frank Ocean forever in your car, Really shows how cool you are. Eating at the same places over and over again, And never getting sick of anything in the end. Arguing over who should pay, To laughing at the funny things you say. We've already been through a lot it seems, You are honestly the boy of my dreams. Thanks for showing me what a perfect guy really can be, I hope you know how much you mean to me.

The Unknown

Each day and night seems to start the same, But things that happen will never remain. I'm sure the grass is green and the sky is blue, But who is really sure to try something new. Why certain things happen I will never know, I'll continue to wonder as the water continues to flow. There's so many unsolved questions in my mind, Why some things happen when I just want to rewind. Time used to be my dear friend, But now I am afraid for it to end. I don't know what to expect with anything anymore, Hopefully if life rains it doesn't pour.

My Religion

It's the end of the day,
And I get in bed and begin to pray
I thank God for all he has done,
For without him I wouldn't be the same one.
I believe in him all the way,
But there is something I must say,
I do not go by Religion at all,
Because I feel I have different beliefs I call.
I create many in my head,
I bring them alive and not dead.
I'm sure God understands me,
I am not different then others he can see.
He takes away my fears,
My prayers can go on for years.
I love you my father,
I hope I am never a bother.

A New Friend

I'm happy to say,
The world looks better today.
Everything seems so bright,
And more places are filled with light.
I know it's because I met someone new,
He is different and his name is Matthew.
He makes things seem better in my head,
I even talk to him when I can't go to bed.
I have never met anyone like him,
His personality is bright and not dim.
He makes everyone around him smile,
The jokes he makes last a while.
I know I made a good choice,
To start talking and hearing his voice.
I'm very thankful to have him as a friend,
I'll appreciate him until the end.

Rewind

My love for you is endless,
Through thick and thin.
I never thought we'd come to
this,
Where should I even begin?

I thought that we were falling,
Falling in a place that I couldn't
bear.
But now it's just me crawling,
And I know everything I did
wasn't fair.

I wish I could rewind back to
that night,
When I thought I knew it all.
Even though I know that isn't
right,
I sit here and continue to bawl.

I can say "I'm sorry" a million
times,
Wondering if you even believe
me.
But I know words can be dirty
crimes,
So I'll just show you so you can
see.
