Winter of Memories

Winter Of Memories

Champagne and sables delicious and grand
While the wonders of love no where is found

Finding dimension of memories in time
A winter of love we hope to find

With memories darkened all bitter and brown
As walls of shadows spills to the ground

Buried deep in my mind my eyes fills with tears
Deep in my soul theres so many fears

Memories now dying all hardened and cold
Into A winter of memories was A human stained soul

Truth and rhyme might drop memories
Just like A winter of memories.......

Forever

Forever
As I looked at the old house sitting there all alone
I thought of the people who once had called it home

In the yard it was barren now the grass so brown
All that was left was a piece of metal lying around

In a old shed remnants of a bicycle and mower I found
So old it had metal tires and a mower with no sound

No smoke came from the chimney with no signs of life
No one seemed to be there not even a husband or wife

Trees so many had grew up all around the old house
The door now always open to only a field mouse

Out by the old barn a desolate old truck there did sit and wait
Little pines trees growing up through the bumper so straight

Down the road an old outhouse sits by the crumbling shed
With a dirt road that runs by the old house up ahead

With a lonely punkin vine that was growing near the fence
Blooming yellow flowers by the grass that was so dense

Down the mountain a waterfall that runs into the stream
As a coyote hollers on the mountain it sounds like a scream

As I walk down the mountain I leave behind the memory of today
I will keep them forever and in my mind forever they will stay!!

Whisper's

Whisper's

Somehow they knew that instruments of time
Was gently seasoned with verses and rhymes

Being impassioned by the wisdom of souls
Guided by their creations back to days of old

Masters they perform songs of their youth
Somehow begin whispers of never ending truth

Rainbows and shadows sway and begin
Natures ending force whispers start over again

While their quest in life turns uneven in hand
Graced is the finale whispers perfect be the end...

Windows of Time

Windows of Time

Crawling through the windows of time
Cobwebs stretching over part of our mind

Wisdom struggles to emerge like A gray cocoon
Slowly it brightens like the light of the moon

What wavering forces makes the night
Sending our thoughts to the morning light

Obeying the sign as the half finished plan
Promises hopes and dreams to your fellow man

Through A maze of troubles and trials
Peace slowly eases A false sense of style

Until much later through the windows of time
Cobwebs take over the best of our mind

To erase our life and let us be free
From the troubles of life and who we used to be.............

Forgotten Cottage

Forgotten Cottage
The little cottage set on top of the hill
So run down but I loved it still

Once a beauty it was built with old stone
I would like to know who made it a home

Around it mountains as far as you can see
A beautiful place to make a life and be free

Collapsing roof and broken windows fell out
Dreamy blue sky makes me want to shout

Inside ancient old cook stove all rusted and worn
Just sitting there all alone looking forlorn

Out in the meadow wildflowers bloom by the piles
In the tall grass coyotes and deer play for a while

Forgotten in time the old cottage will be mine
Forever to live there with my love and be fine. . .

Endless Dreams

Endless Dreams
The great artist he is and the way it is seems
Sweet illusions that echo in our endless dreams

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind
So tender yet so strong yet they don't ever blend

Dream or reality lest we do forget there in time
As the last man standing never forget will be mine

Meanwhile on the other side shall be endless sleep
No address to find just time when days become weeks

Alone in the dark its a beautiful day in the fall
Like his mind not so ship shape just a hole in the wall

Trapped in the future we once thought was so cool
Meanwhile on the other side with no molten pool

I dream of circles within circles as they float away
And as the weeping willow tree will be here to stay

Not yet a reminder of someone watching over you
As with a recurring light comes endless dreams so blue

Focus on endless dreams in your mind a time out
As your sweet illusions echoes out of your mouth

A daydream yet to come as we remember when
Its never to late to be who you might have been

Night caller perfectly formed self portrait on the edge|
Endless sleep as he slowly walks over the ledge....

Sorrows

Sorrows

Chasing our sorrows into the wind
With twisted fate they never end

Beneath the hurt of sadness and woe
Still our heart will never know

In the shadows will sorrow stay
Within our heart no other way

Must love part or will it be
Free from sorrows for you and me........

Inside of Me

Inside Of Me

Upon this lonely hill I stand
Looking down with pen in hand

Memories that flood my jumbled mind
Hopes and dreams I cant seem to find

Shades of sadness creep over me
Into the wind I look but can not see

A reflection of myself of long ago
Once new now old he loved me so

Slowly time passes and my mind forgets
Leaving behind all my regrets

Mindless it seems I will always be
Until the end then will I be free

Slowly I feel the storm fighting me
As swiftly I drift across the sea........

Unaware

Unaware

Shadows of tomorrow is peacefully unaware
Leaving distant shadows without a care

Patience beyond knowledge frozen in time
Hopes through the ages dreams of the mind

Beyond any thing we still shall watch and wait
As thoughts and schemes form much to late

Timeless beauty become flames of delight
As twilight and gold dust forge into night

Hope changes nothing but peace beyond time
We all long for love our hearts hope to find

As sunlight streaks through the clouds
Out of sight the thunder rumbles loud

As time changes the sunshine to rain
Clouds may vary but weep and cry in pain

Peace then touches this lonely heart of mine
With hopes that cross heavens boundary lines

Seeing true love last until the end
Beyond anything our mind comprehends......

Black Sails

Black Sails
Black sails is like the dark of night
Sailing into the morning daylight

Smooth as velvet the black sails glides
Over the water as it splashes inside

I think back to a memory in my mind
To black sails now I hope to find

Back in time to when I was a child
Watching black sails all the while

Up and down that old river we rode
My dad and I with a heavy load

Now hes gone memories is all that's left
Of black sails on the river alone by myself. . . .
