Mike Sacks Poem
Pull my strings, or I can't walk.
Pull my lever, so I can talk.
Made of plastic, with no heart.
As you wish, to tear apart.
Put me back, on my shelf.
I am no good, by myself.
Round and round, so we go.
You pull my strings, that's all I know.

Mike Sacks Poem
Have you ever truly loved another
love so much you begin to smother
love so deep they could do no wrong
now you can't even get along
How did this happen you may wonder
as you foolishly begin to blunder
Let you be is all you ask
I'll just hide behind my mask

Mike Sacks Poem
Things will fall into place, you say
if you truly believe, good things will come
you also believe in Santa, to my dismay
metaphorically perhaps, but still glum
I still believe, all though I am numb

Mike Sacks Poem
I'm covered in dirt, my laces are knotted,
my soul is worn, my tongue is spotted.
I lie on the closet floor, to far back to be seen,
I'm no longer needed, their are others who make you gleam.
For I am an old shoe, sick and worn,
without you I can not walk, so I lie and mourn.

Mike Sacks Poem
How long is this going to take
day after day I sit and wait
while your content I just ache
I guess for you things are great
I put up a wall filled with hate

Mike Sacks Poem
Your eyes open gently
I wait to hear a sound
you say something softly
your feet hit the ground
I try to ask but your not around

Mike Sacks Poem
How can I let you be
when I want you all for me.
I want to hold you tight
squeeze you with all my might.
Never let go for fear
a lonely night draws near.
After all you were the one
at the beginning when my life begun.

Mike Sacks Poem
After a long lonely night
I watch you sleep the day
What will the evening bring
It is too soon to say
