Kolawole Owoigbe Poem
Why this boat?
Could it be the boat of destitution?
Conveying Epidemics, Hunger, Rags,
Malnutrition and Illiteracy.
Descend from me!
Banish from my world!
You cursed word!
You that called education a"Privilege"!
Patrimony of the ghetto!
W.H.O called you "Lion of Africa",
U N called you "Agenda ".
Predicament to the black,
Livelihood to the white.
Harking to conviction,
Capsize and rise no more.
For "Black Rose" to smile again
On the land of plenty.

Kolawole Owoigbe Poem
At 24:00 O’ Clock of the stars,
When the tides are clapping to
The pressure of her contractions.
Louder is the agony of her painful rhythms,
Calling God to open the passage of babies
Louder the palms are tapping hard the shells.
At 01:45 O’ clock, sharper are the pains
and beautiful is her head with curly hair.
Start in a soprano b-flat, the tinning sound:
Nwhaeeen! Nwhaeeen!! Nwhaeeen!!! rock the ear holes.
Agony flew in placement of tears of Joy.
Hello to the New Queen Bose
At 1:00 O’ clock, is mamo strumming rocky lullaby,
Softer it became the sound, to a napping little queen.
The pains are gone and the Queen is Queen Bose

Kolawole Owoigbe Poem
A gentleman that acted in noble motives of men, He’s my HERO
He never demeans others when he easily can, He’s my HERO
A mentor that lives in Champions never dies, He’s my HERO
He that converted sorrow to laughter, He’s my HERO
He that we called and call sadness eraser, He’s my HERO
With humility again,
He gazes in the sky and Shining on us like a
FOREVER-SHINING SUN,
Because "Oku olomo kin sun." He’s my HERO
He lives-on in Us and He never left Our Stories, He’s my HERO
Yes! his generosity never Stopped, forever,
His name remains our Access PIN to Many, He’s my HERO
We call him "Everyday Father Xmas", He’s my HERO
He never used Generator BUT He Lights up homes and Businesses, He’s my HERO
He that invented Leader and Stars never Dies, Yes! Never dies
He was my Boss and my Mentor, Yes! Never dies
His name is:
Late Prince (Alhaji) Hon. Morufdeen Adeola Adefolabi (Alheri)
Yes! Never dies
