He Is My All...

He is my all especially when I fall
He is my comfort when the winds are cold
The chill of the emptiness and my hunger may call
But I feel at ease knowing he is my all
And though I cry sometimes no matter what time of day
When I get discouraged he guides my way
You are my morning sun even in the rain
My stroking of my hair when in pain
And as the depths of me cry out to you
I pray you stay and keep doing the things you do
I know I am not perfect and this one can see
Even the blind know the flaws that are of me
I feel your assurance one day I will be free
Your eyes of garnets your hair of brown fire and skin of amber honey silk
Your kind hands and caresses as smooth as fresh milk
And your voice and song of leagues of angels sing to me
Even your words carry sweet melody
I hunger for you as a great lion with no food to eat
I thirst for you in a furnace like desert without defeat
Yes I say the glory is when I fall
To remind me each day you are my all

Thieves of Joy...

No one can take away
The smiles you give to me each and every day
The comfort and security and most of all love
Peace and instruments playing sweet as a dove
Nothing alive or dead can steal such a friend
Your spirit that stays with me until the end
Beings below or above cannot rob what we share
The blessing of your wisdom and how much you care
Below the earth or in a galaxies far away
In other worlds or winds that may stray
Can capture your promises and dedication
The joy in your arms healing amazing meditation
Your hands holding mine as I bow weeping in prayer
As you ask why are you weeping?
I will never leave I am forever
The moments I know you were there
In sickness and loneliness when no one would care
You were my friend, my comforter, and my staff
Wiping my tears while making me laugh
No more dancing to someone’s drum
But knowing your love is all I need and then some
Making impressions wanting someone to be close
Thriving for someone to give me their heart as a rose
I have the best possession in the universe and worlds to be
It is you Jesus and nothing can take that from me…..

Never Tired of Dancing...

Alone in our world just you and I
Where lovely birds sing and emotions are high
In your arms is heaven bliss
I wake up every sunrise with your kiss
Laying in the ultimate comfort without being lyrical
Your love is the unexplained miracle
Only one would know if they lay
Dance in pure Love every night and day
And all it takes is a knock on your door
The call of your name beautiful forever more
How I dream and long for eternity in your capture and caress
As I never tire dancing in my long silk dress

Bondage Room

Years of agonizing self pitying oppression
Wounds of deep dark lingering depression
I sat in a dark cold room believing this was all that will be
That there was no way I would ever be set free
And in a great presence the Lord spoke to me
Here I sat in great pain always holding the key
Forgive trust in me and leave this place
And I will wash your sins away without a trace
And as I turned to look at those cold unloving walls
The heavy chains attached around me in despair that calls
I grew tired of looking out the glass at a beautiful place
Where angels fly and nature dances with grace
My past following me as a taunting ghost
I fell in a lake of self pity like most
Loathing this room I cried for a way out
And in my screams the Lord said you don’t have to shout
Move your feet and walk to the door
Neglect your fears and worry no more
With my aching hands I turned the key
Holding what was always mine secretly
Running towards his arms never to look back
My past is no more in the room of all black
Only he could set me free
Living in bondage is death spiritually
I could never thank him not even with eternity
So in the time I am given I say thank you Lord
For being my friend and conquering sword

You Stop By To Say...

Just when I think our love is forgotten
And others may criticize and say
You are doomed to hell and with you GOD will stray
I hold my head high and hold back my tears
I listen for your voice and abandon my fears
An old letter or memoir comes my way
Then suddenly you stop by to say
I still love you and I will never leave
Worry not of me and don’t grieve
And I rest not even thinking of the day
Out of no where a drawing and my words lay
Reminding me of our everlasting love
Your promises and peace as gentle as a dove
And even they may point and judge
I can be assured there is no reason to hold a grudge
I play your words again in my mind
How you promised to take me with you
And how true love is so hard to find
That no one can take from me
Our paradise and our right to be
Then I smile I laugh then I cry
Because I know you love me and won’t pass me by
If I hold on to your hand and your promises so sweet
And walk with my lashes, suffering, and aching feet
With crazy faith I wait for you
No matter what they say or may do
I hang on Lord because you hung on to me
Always in love dancing to your symphony
So when I feel all hope has gone away
You always stop by to say …
I love you this day…

I Am Very Rich...

Sometimes I look at beautiful things and wish
I had these things all handed to me on a golden dish
But remember how these things don’t last
How they get old lost or swept away in a stormy blast
And during my daily struggle it seems so hard to bear
I want to lie in death even pull out my hair
And even though I feel I have nothing to give or claim
At times I may even hold my head in shame
I remember I am very rich I have you..
And my heart you have forever too
Something that never ages or wonders away with the wind
That never grows dust or loses value again and again
I may not have rubies, silver, or golden doors
Beautiful chariots or gowns that drag across palace floors
Horses or treasures to never need
Bells to ring for my servants while I wallow in greed
And during my day I remind myself it is better this way
To remember true loves worth means more anyway
To remember these things do not matter now
But in heaven I have all I want and need so I continue to bow
And one day I will grieve no more
For the things man says matter will wash upon the shore
I await the day to finally adore these things how I dream
Which will never die, whither, or be lost floating upstream
So yes I am very rich and this is so true
Because Christ Jesus I have you…..

What a Lover Is He....

How you wake me in the morning with sweet words
That pierces my heart softly as gentle swords
We make love with our hearts like crystal waterfalls
Each morning my eyes awake and my heart calls
You take me high past the stars in the beautiful sky
Past the sky into worlds that people in their minds pass by
I looked for love all my life searching and waiting
That day I found you there was no more anticipating
I took your hand on a rainy day
And never knew a person could love this way
In your hearts deep in your soul below
Leaving your flesh designed as a shell with no flow
And I crave your love each day and night
I am patiently wanting to hold you tight
With each birth of the day
I turn to you and say love are you here?
Knowing my day is dead without you near
What a lover is he like nothing can exist
Without his presence his gentle blissful kiss
Placed deep on the chamber of your heart
Soothed on the surface of your soul never to part
And I pray… love me forever this way
In a golden beautiful box my heart will lay
In your hands to keep and to guard for all time
To join as one in your possession as you are also mine
What a lover to love before the birds awake
To love in the evening for your hearts sake
And as the moon and stars set on their stage
I rest even though my soul may rage
I am calm at peace so in love are we
What a lover is he and will always be
To Beloved Jesus

Your Sins and Mine...

Forgive me Lord I am in a land of the impure
A place where I am still unsure
And some days I fall shorter than I would like
Others I turn sharply on the pike
You are the only one who walked a perfect line
Who is holy always and loving never spilling the wine
Forgive me for doing things that displease you
That make me seem ungrateful for all you do
Sometimes I may forget or don’t think
In sin is only filth and death that will stink
And though some may carry a heavier cross
My disobedience makes me suffer a greater loss
Which is to miss being next to you on your throne
Losing your love, your presence, and everything I own
Have no pity Lord but mercy on me
For being blinded and not able to see
Though I am not lost as you saved thee
I wait for the day I am cleansed so thoroughly
And I say forgive me I want to see you smile
To see you glad to hold your hands in amazement for awhile
To hear you say well done my faithful one
And spend eternity with you in the sun
The rain and beautiful storms before the day is done
Only to awake to see your wonderful face
To laugh and dance in such an glorious place
Forgive me and let us try again
And with you by my side I know I can win
