shifting tides

waves crashing on the shore
covered in seagulls galore
sand washing away to be seen nevermore
with the waves crashing on the shore

beyond the tide and the endless sea was a place unexplored by me
a small island free but lonely
acompanyed by its little sprouts
beyond the waves crashing on the shore

noises

I hear sounds
Seemingly normal to others
A wave of memory and regret for me
It crashes into the shore cruel and unforgiving
Like a stained glass window
The paint is always there
Never leaving
And shows strongest when light is cast upon it
The sounds carry their own stories based on who you ask

im sorry

Im sorry
I know im a pain but im trying to change
Trying to become what you want
Trying to throw myself away to be what you please
Then when you're done you throw me away and get a new toy
But im always waiting
Waiting for the say you come back and say
“I love you”
Waiting to feel you in my arms
Waiting to feel loved
waiting
Waiting
waiting

I feel the stares piercing into my brain
I feel their presence

Are they dead
Are they living
I feel them
I just
Don't
Know
Where
