My Little Chaos

He was born, I was happy.
I could play with someone,
Grow up with someone together.

I never lacked love or care but being the youngest had its own downside.
No one to play with me, no one to hang out with, no one to share secrets with.
But after his arrival, everything changed, I knew I needed no one.
I didn't care if my cousins played with me
or my parents gave me attention.
Because now I finally had my own punch bag, my own chaos to handle.
I loved every moment growing up.

Its scary how you grew up but also wonderful.
I look back at time when I took your things and you cried.
The beauty lied in the innocence of it.

But now I see you all grown up
Helping people and sharing things
I feel immensely proud of you.

I look back at and I can tell
I never knew how much I needed you
Until I saw you for the first time in that hospital
But with that came the worry and anger
Love from parents would be divided or worst taken away.
But seeing you cleared both worry and anger
coz I knew you deserved every moment of it.

Truth to be told, for me love never decreased.
Instead it increased, the care you saw, the maturity you possess, and the love you shower
make me wonder how fortunate I am to have you.
At the end of the day I can happily announce
You are my ride or die
You are my home
And
without you I have nothing.

Do we truly know

I have known him for years
But have I truly known
Or do I just know
What I think is right
He smiles, he is a thinker
But what about his quirks, his hates,
His likes, his dislikes
I know none of them
So do I know him
Is what I wonder a lot

The more I think
The more I fall deeper
Into thought of illusion and confusion of who I like
My love or me being in love.

we selfish being
Can never truly know other person
Because that would mean putting ourselves away form Spotlight for once
Can we do that
Can we
I don't think so

Are we that self consumed with ourselves
That we cannot even try to spare glance
At the existence of the real person outside
Our perception of that person
I ask when we say I love him
Do I see him or
Merely the reflection of our ideal self
And the version that could never exist
This make me doubt
Do we truly understand the beautiful complexity what love is

Love is not just some ideal love
From our movies or series
But it includes raw emotions
Ugly fights, horrible parts of each other
We never knew existed

So, am I mature enough
To accept that kind of love
Or just a fickle version of love
That requires only what I see
Not the person beneath that layers of masks.

Proven Choices

Everything is game of chess
One wrong move I’m in mess
Being confidence was my flaw they said
But I believe it was my law
I believe in smart work, they believed in hard work
I saw strength while they saw weakness
They kept advising me so I give them a chance to prove themselves right
But all they did was showed my wrong but they had nothing to prove them right
Once said to be kind so I tried to be, even after the outburst but then
I remember my ruthless mind finally I give them Peace of Mind to get out of my life
As they left, they said I regret my choice
Days passed months passed and even year passed but none changed except
I’m the leader and they my followers
The only thing I did different was I believe in myself while none believed in me
