Opposite Day

Cars squealing,
Trees shivering,
Humans zooming across town,
Probably back to that ‘small but cozy…’ apartment in the basement of an LA complex.
Thing is..
When’s recess?
When can I go home?
And why do I never feel at home?
Where actually is home?
Perhaps we’re all searching for home.

Life Is But A Dream

I spend 80% of the day waiting for you to come home
And the other 20% hoping you won't leave again.
It's never easy
But through the summer's and winter's,
those fresh spring's and chilly fall's
I'll be there.
Right where you left me

The life of a pet is never easy.
