Moderacy

An arbitrary effigy

Enacts its own soliloquy;

Concocts a taste sensation

Fit to consternate a nation.

What's an ethical conundrum?

Sinful, existential ho-hum!

Guaranteed to whiten whiter

Never lit one cross on fire...

Yet the sugar pills create

A side effect that won't abate -

You're free to spend more time prostrate

Than one can ever stay awake.

Now your own somnolent scream

Conducts a constant marching theme;

Reverberates the eight of Rome

As sifting sand toward sunken home...

If as you glance up at the sky

You still sense wonder from on high -

If with every labored breath

You'll glibly force another step -

Seek some meaning midst these words

Although the cadence is absurd:

NeVeRmInD tHe BuRnInG;

ThAt JuSt MeAnS iT's WoRkInG!

MKUltra

Moon walking on a night trip;

Sun dawns and the frame skips.

Nurse Springer and doctor Phil,

They're checking cheeks for euthanasia thrills.

Mind's eye is where the drama ends;

Commercial break, it's a cultural trend.

You can still coax music from a beat up drum.

You cannot fire peace from the end of a gun.

All the other kids with the pumped-up kicks?

Haters gonna hate, that's some truth ****.

Sympathy

I met a young man

Who was verbally dead,

Inside a text bubble

That wept in our head.

He thought rhyme juvenile,

That no one would care;

His hands turned to claws

And he tore at my hair.

A snake in the garden

Afraid of the fall,

He lit up a smoke

And he started to crawl.

Seems que*r all he wanted

Was someone to love,

Like the edge of a cliff

And the push of a shove.

King Nothing

Malaise over cribbage,

Unmade in our image;

While they ravage the earth:

Pestilence First!

The cowards save pride,

Just along for the ride;

And the prophets, they shrug.

Must be '---' tall for a hug.

A mechanical theme.

Set to writhe and teem

Astride strained ambition -

An inherent condition!

And the sole consolation?

The starved man gnaws bacon,

As he snarls at the pork;

Pokes the end of his fork.

Steely disposition.

Love's prohibition.

Swole at the seam,

This American dream.

Barker Thoughts

Horizon bound!
In sight of Nevermind's abode...
A brush of lilies here-there trace
This breathless, stony road.
By the creaky passing of
Yon rigid, horse-drawn hearse,
It pains to see such lively ones
So sorely lacking mirth.

All time has passed!

Comes judgement day.
Seek not to listen as He
Straddles His commode;
Try not to hear it as His bowels
Let loose their slick, wet load.
Focus instead upon His lunatic decree.
Upon His gavel, trailing dreams, He
Wields with such uncanny glee...

Weep...such sweet remorse...
Pure, pristine sin you've yet to see.

Thank You For Your Attention To This Matter

Chronically disabled, can't shut the **** up,

'Cause the internet raised me on two girls and one cup.

Spit this shi* out my ass**** while you lap and you suck,

As you kneel for the Man 'cause you can't wait to get cucked.

There's a sickness in this country like the dick at the top,

But if you wave it in the People's face it's bound to get lopped.

Then you'll know how it feels to be a boy that's a girl,

While your neighbors all disdain you for the flag you unfurl.

"Heil" to the world, controversy is fun-

Now they keep your ***** ass "safe" at the sound of a gun.

Insomnia

Day transitions,
Always,
Into darkness
Of the heart,
And leaves
The mind
A waste
Of desiccation.

Specters cast
By embers
Mauling corpus
Of the dear
And less
Depraved, resort
To madness
And chagrin.

Sun lulls
To scorch
Indifference in
The bark,
Asleep within;
Cocoon,
Yet nothing
Different, safe...

Dusk is born again.

Inaction Figure

Put me back
Inside the box.
I've seen too much;
I loathe your touch.
You children with
Your callous hands
Who play with me,
A plastic man.

I do not breathe;
I never have.
I cannot cry.
I'll never die.
Indecision
Keeps me still -
It's for the best,
They say...

I've laughed before
But can't say why,
So set me on
A shelf up high,
Far above young,
eager hands,
Where all can see
This plastic man.

It

Intangible.
It's all the rage!
What's a soul?
A pint or two.

Intangible!
So much to fear.
Abject refrain.
Ember rot.

Intangible?
So gather round.
Harshest whisper.
Crippled pyre.
