Simone Young Poem
One frog, two frogs, three
Climbing up the lush green tree
Do they feel alone?

Simone Young Poem
I walk alone on silent cobblestones,
Deep in a darkness that is mine alone.
The heavy past can never slow my stride,
With nowhere left to run or left to hide.
The silhouette I cast is all my own,
A fading ghost of dying flesh and bone.
No breath of wind is stirring in the air,
Just hollow shadows in the winter glare.
Grey morning breaks to warm my heavy steps,
Above the frozen stone where sorrow sleeps.
I watch the leaves by aimless winds are blown,
As morning wakes the ancient cobblestones.

Simone Young Poem
Free will is a choice: to yield or to strive.
It rewards the decision, solidifying the path: to yield or to strive.
God bestowed this on us all, yet we call Him a tyrant
because it feels unfair to have only two choices.
Our lives are not ushered by hollow guarantees.
We are granted a gift—of necessary choices.
Yet we stumble in the dark, following our own hearts—
knowing they can err, misled by our own impulses.
But beneath the mistakes, a quiet awareness remains—
pure, simple, and formless.
That is where the search ends, and where humanity finds peace.
So, the question remains: How will you decide?

Simone Young Poem
A cold dawn creeps, pale and dead,
I swing from a tree filled with dread.
I rise so fast, I chase the scream,
Lost in a grim and fierce dream.
The wind claws at my hair fast,
I grip the ropes, I gasp at the blast.
Up high I shoot, to pierce the sky,
Where black crows screech, then fly.
The sun sinks down, a red streak bleeds,
Night hunts the yard with dark deeds.
White stars flash out like sharp sparks,
I hide in bed and brave the dark.

Simone Young Poem
Let the gaze fold, softly shut,
a moment held—
a slow tide of breath that enters and leaves.
Within you, gently,
not demanding or rushed,
who is left there to judge?
For in this stillness the past can hold no claim.
Is it your imagination,
or the drift of fallen leaves
like papery whispers outside the door?
They gather, dry and scattered,
smelling of dust and worry—
magnetic forms of the lower mind.
You have been here before,
cloaked in yesterday’s echoes,
ruminating on the creases of time
carved like ancient riverbeds
onto an aging, fragile face.
Look out to the unveiled skies
and see the light moving across
without apology—
this endless flow where truth is found,
and the ego’s frantic season
is stripped away as illusion.

grievous immoderation ,
satiric and fanatical .
their tenaciousness can invite
inflationary feminization ;

Simone Young Poem
I still hear the loud noise
of your quiet footsteps,
marked across unpolished,
weathered wooden floors.
Childhood suppressed expectations,
starved for genuine praise,
dwarfed by the presence
of a silence never broken.
My inner struggles suffocate,
captivated by the hidden door
latched forever
by decaying, hardened paint.
Scars of turmoil refuse to yield,
mercilessly triggered by this prison,
locked by the one key
still held by you.
A stitched fabric of fortitude—
resembling a carved brand of honor—
is the silent hero I grasp for
in moments of aching defiance.
When the weight of unimportance,
and callous neglect,
rears its ugly head,
demanding more
than my essence can endure.
Still, here I am.
Not asking for forgiveness.
Not asking for explanations.
I am letting go,
just like you did.

Simone Young Poem
Cold echoes wake the ancient cobblestones,
A hardened soul now walking all alone.
I leave the past and all its grief behind,
A wraith of shadow, silhouette outlined.
A hardened soul now walking all alone,
The chilled ghost of my dying flesh and bone.
A wraith of shadow, silhouette outlined,
The silhouette, a haunting shadow met.
The chilled ghost of my dying flesh and bone,
Grey light breaks down upon the frozen stone.
The silhouette, a haunting shadow met,
As breathless quiet fills the heavy air.
Grey light breaks down upon the frozen stone,
My footsteps echoing a heavy tone.
As breathless quiet fills the heavy air,
Now wraps the darkness tight around my chest.
My footsteps echoing a heavy tone,
I leave the past and all its grief behind.
Now wraps the darkness tight around my chest,
Cold echoes wake the ancient cobblestones.

Simone Young Poem
The dark room is a canvas of hidden shades.
Vibrations from veins in the sky thrill as they fade.
My reflection catches a sudden, wide smile,
Awe-struck by an ambience so raw and frightful.
My heart skips; the pulse is electrified.
Pulsating sparks strike sharp like hidden teeth,
Illuminating bare floorboards and weary bones.
Unfettered liberty shocks like the first brush of lips.
A current travels all the way down my spine.
I marvel at this ecstasy, this fire’s heat.
Life's force takes hold when abandon grasps and tears.
Reluctance surrenders to endeavors of splendor.
Stark white strobes strike—the dark is vanquished,
Leaving the room to shake in the heavy wake.
