Rai Risks Poem
The fogged mind will die
Leaking the urges to heal
Alone the mind is

Rai Risks Poem
Brooding, I lay on my bed
Never looking down, evading my frames view
The weights I’ve yet to lift lay under my dangling leg
Not a single thought crossing in this head, I am to just lay here
In my nest
Across the room, the nape of the closet
As if folded like wings, returned to its wrapping
The pressing fabric bought with what little crumbs was scrounged
Not a single glance over there do these eyes give or scout, and there it will lay
In its nest
Turned away, leaning on the wall
Reflective glass, preened yet vapid
Behind the surface, here he chirps out slowly
Not a single sound was heard, and there he will remain
In his nest

Rai Risks Poem
Here I write another ballad to the man beneath
Each encounter, interaction, and view,
You drag us down
Deeper,
And deeper,
Steeper the climb, out of here
Nearing absolutely nowhere, why is what I ask.
Basking in my misery and gloom,
You further pull me down, in silence
Deeper,
And deeper
I cry out for help, for the light only goes small,
All in my mind, do I wonder,
Colder his touch is, limp my body goes
Deeper,
And deeper,
My eyes open, have they been closed?
Most of my mind has left, it is only I here
I, only I? He is nowhere.
Bare this hole is, left alone am I.
Deep,
And deep.
