WHY I LOVE HER

In the deepest of my heart, she is there.

In the storms of life, she holds tight and is ready to go through it all

During the moment of tears, she understands every bit that drops

When she is hurt so badly, she still feels there is someone to cater for

The world does not understand her love

It is a lesson to be taught in every institution

She is the angel of time that knows what is to be done

In her hurt, she presents the sweeter aspect of her love

Wandering across the world to compare her love was a grievous mistake

There was none compared to her

Her success dwells on the prize, not the process

When all is gone in the passing of time, she is the ‘last man standing.’

She defines love with her character and erases wrong with a listening ear

She goes through the thick and thin hustle to perfect everything within and without

How can this rose of love be rewarded?

Appreciate her with the best of might.

It is the necessity for nourishment and growth

It is the moment of Yes, I do!

IN THE DEEP I THINK

How is life like in the world to come?

The uncertainty draws fears with a mask

The projections of man seem meaningless

Our root, our support, our source

May the new world be revealed

The sky be perfect as the creator

The wind be pure as the co-creator

Our lives be saved by the only begotten

I see a new movement

Men and Women revealed in the sanctuary

Heart molded with peace and joy

A world reformed not by man

The bell of time is loud and clear

It is the creator, the master planner

There is no disappointment in the deep

Here I come with a Deep Mindset.

The Message

There was an opening in the dark
A loud, deep sound forced goosebumps
With eyes lifted on high, what could I see?
Darkness has taken over
We are being deceived, lured, and blindfolded.

Just in a flash, there is a new normality
Normality that seems so true, making it difficult to differentiate.
We move in shackles
The invisible dragging us to a condemned pit.

Oh! Saviour that sees in the dark
You have seen our tears for salvation
There is no time even for the breath that holds us.
Screaming in a soundless voice
Light me up with the message

It is here, and now is the time
The rolling of creation, the strange occurrences
I heard a voice, calling names in turns
Listening keenly is a covenant of redemption
It affirms the message, ‘when you hear my voice, harden not your heart’.

The litany of evil done can be wiped away by the blood
With the last trumpet blow, the blood becomes a blood
This experience can drain life from the soul
It is time, and it is wise to pledge allegiance to the Son through the blood

May the message reveal secrets and unfailing paths.

I CAN’T BREATHE

In the moment of life and death
Cried I on the visible and the invisible for mercy
It was my crossroad
I fought for the last breath in me

The savior nigh, my blood fought to sustain the life in me
Cruelty has taken root in the heart of man
My voice piercing the ears of similar beings
But there was no sympathy

What can I do?
All I could say was,
“Please, please, I cannot breathe.”
“I can’t breathe. Please, the knee in my neck.”
Pleading and asking for water was a demand of my soul.
Just like a sheep to be slaughtered, I could have been served water.
It was the norm, and the last respect, but not in my case.
“My stomach hurts. My neck hurts. Please, please. I can’t breathe,”
The voice that still echoes in the heart of a writer.

Rest In Perfect Peace, George Floyd.
