Life

Struggles.
Short term the school.
Long term the house of love.
A career until retirement.
My world.

A Friend Lost

He loved skateboarding,
driving, parties, and friends.
He had a big heart with big dreams,
till late one night it all came to an end.

Walking home one night,
the lights hit him with great force,
rolling impact could bring.
In front of his house is where he lay.

Big propellers came,
took him away.
He put up a fight but the lack of blood,
took his helpless life.

Family and friends gathered,
as we watched memories on the screen.
The tears, anger, disbelief,
hurt, and love arose once more.

The Place, Your Place

The would is full of places,
There is no need to race.
For there are many journies,
So many roads to take,
Not enough room for mistakes.

The road is long,
But not long enough.
Before you know it,
Times will get tough.

So pick your place,
No need to race,
See whats at stake.
Make sure its the right road,
You want to take.

Change of Faith

Follow teh riretrucks down teh road.
Three miles is as far as you'll
Have to go.
Nearly 100 volunteers at the
Sene of the violent firestorm.
20 acrs and and 22 thougsand gallons
Of water used.

The heartbreak of that day
Tasted more bitter than ever known.
The slowly falling of the house,
Made me choke down the rock,
In my throat as I swallowed.
The unbelievable sight sounded as if
Two cars had colladid at a high rate of speed.

The devastation came,
But has yet to leave.
Clean up had to come,
And brought the harsh burnt smell.
So overwhelming,
Would have made your stomach turn,
As would rotten food.

We dug and searched,
To find what maybe left.
The full remains,
Were only of a few items.
Two plates, coins, destroyed jewelry,
and an elephant,
Was all that was found.

Life's Irony

How sick and cruel
can irony be?
When a boy was given a chance
to live again
but only to die once more.
Should death not be
until one grows old.
What about one who makes changes,
to live a longer life,
but only to die sooner?
How sick and cruel can it be?
Only as sick and cruel as it is!

My Path

Get out of my way,
and allow me to drive,
for it is my path.

Presious Memories

I wanted to see the sea,
so far and long,
all water, no land.
He took me there.

The old landfill,
was the biggest park around,
I wanted to go.
He took me there.

I wanted to dance,
to hold each other tight,
with a body that feels warm and full of love.
He took me there.

His heart opened as a bok,
I read his every word,
for I am his greatest love.
He took me there.

He took me to a place,
that will last a lifetime.
Today, I said "Yes."
Tomorrow, I will say "I do."

Left

Please forgive me,
For I have sin.
For I am to blame,
For all his pain.

For I have loved,
Then left.

Not chosen to go,
and have not forgotten.

The Girl

The girl's hair is like a ripe strawberry,
bright and red.
Yet her eyes stand out like an ocean,
deep and blue.

Her hair flows like a river,
long and free.
But her eyes glow like a new car,
glittery and bright.

Sorrow

I wish I could have held you,
just a minute longer,
to say once more...
Your beauty is like a light,
and I am drawn to it.
To say once more...
Your body is to die for,
and I long to hold.
Yes, to say once more...
your smile melts through
my heart,
leaving only,
your warmth.
Oh, how much to give,
to say just once more...
your forever eyes,
send your soul to my heart,
forcing it to beat once more.
