Proud Soldier

You were a soldier with pride
Defending a nation
From forces of evil
You fought on the sands
Of a South Pacific land
You fought for an island
Owned by Japan
Our forces were strong
And you fought with great might
The island of Iwo Jima
You would take that night
Though death was around you
You faltered not
You fought with bravery
You knew not how to stop
Victory was yours, your brothers
Your friends
A victory that death will make
You forever live
You helped our nation
Win the war
That one tiny island
Was one Great reward
You gave your life
Or maybe not
Regardless your destiny
You fought a great fight
Sixty years has now
Come and gone
But we are still proud
Of the bravery you have shown

Dedication
To my grandfather, Jack Madison Fluitt, a United States Marine Corp. Raider who fought the
battle of Iwo Jima. You are gone now but we remember your life with much pride and honor.
To all the other soldiers who fought at Iwo Jima or any other battle of World War II,
thank you for our freedom. We owe our lives to you.

My Beautiful Beloved

My Beautiful Beloved, my heart is on fire just envisioning
your touch. Your kiss carries me to ecstasy.
Your lips take me to wonderlands never before known.
Your fingertips ignite my beingness creating delicate
pulsations of bliss. Electric waves of passion rush through
my cells at the mere thought of you. My soul cries for
your caress taking me to heights of Pure Love creating
Heaven on Earth. You and I are Heaven on Earth. Our
Ecstatic passionate vibration radiates throughout the
Cosmos and beyond creating a New Magickal Paradise for
us and all. I Love You, I Adore You, I Cherish You way
beyond words, way beyond any worldly comprehension.
Our shared passionate embrace creates a blissful Utopia
uplifting all Humanity and the Cosmos. To ascend
together, forever into eternity and beyond and one day
finally at last never to return to this dense plane.
Together forever with you My One and Only True Love.
You and I as ONE Always and Forever...never to belong to
another.

In Loving Memory

In Loving Memory
Mr. Charlie “Red” Ray Welch
By
Kimberly Hale

Five a.m. strikes the hour
when your heart gave in
You fought the fight of your life
you loved all family and friend
Your smile so sweet your heart so true
made everyone around love you
Today you left to meet the Lord
family gone before greeting you at the door
No more hurts no more tears
will ever come upon you again
Just life love and peaceful rest
in Heaven above you are so blessed
We cherish our memories
our laughs and smiles
The great love and happiness
you brought into our lives
Goodbye is not forever
only a small change with time
For we all will be together again
when God calls us all home
Upon High

Dedicated to Mr. Charlie “Red” Ray Welch – Born 11/14/1935 – Deceased 6/2/2011 –
We will love and miss you forever

Your Love

Wildfires in the sky
Whispers in the wind
Love on the air
With kisses at every bend
My heart full of joy
Your love makes it strong
To see your eyes & feel your touch
Is all that I long
Your hands on my body
Your breath on my skin
Your lips touching mine
As I feel happiness within
Our eyes come together
Your hands meet with mine
Your love takes my breath away
As I give you mine

Forever

Thoughts in my mind
race like the wind
Sands of time
keep everything within
Pictures in the soul
last a lifetime
Memories remind me
how you became mine
Love in the heart
forever will live
From yesterday and tomorrow
even after life ends

Pain

The secrets of my heart
The pain of my tears
Nobody sees coz I hide them within
My fear kills me in more ways than one
From mental anguish
To physical pain
Nobody hears me calling
Coz the screams are held in
Nobody sees me crying
But my tears are stained in blood
My head is full of sadness
And I don’t know how to stop the pain
I take the pills to end it all
My fear, my pain, my tears
I want gone
Ending in nothing but more pain
For what I have become
A life so empty
A pain so real
And nothing can quench its uncontrollable kill
Where do I go now
What do I become
With this cloud of pain
I am now forever alone

My Hearts Cry

The sun was shining on that
cool and beautiful day.
It was almost time to go
to the church Christmas play
As I was dressing
the pain began to start
I knew something was wrong
I felt it in my heart.
“God please protect this baby,”
was my hearts only cry.
I continued to get dressed
though tears filled up my eyes.
The pain went away
so to the play we went.
There my new friends we would meet
and we went and found the perfect seats.
The play was going great
and it started to get late.
As I sat there mesmerized
the pain again I felt inside.
Out I went to take a break
but it was almost to late.
To the hospital I did go
because my friend and husband told me so.
My pain grew more intense
as my life hung in the balance.
I screamed with every pain
my weakened body was drained.
The doctor said to me,
“To surgery you must go,
the small life in you is gone,
but you must be strong.
Every minute that we wait
adds defeat to your fate.
This surgery we must do
to save the precious life of you.”
My heart began to cry
as I asked myself ”Why”!
This little life so sweet
now I shall never meet.
The pain I felt inside
made me start to cry.
Then in my room appeared
three people that were dear.
To comfort me this night
my life to help me fight.
Only they would know my fate
for they were sent from Heavens gates.
“All is well” the first did say.
The second said,
“Don’t be afraid.”
Not a word did the third one say.
All he did was stand and pray.
The peace I felt was so intense,
I knew it must be Heaven sent.
The light I saw
was bright and warm.
The peace I felt
my heart adored.
“Its not your time.”
The first did day
“With your family you must stay,
all is well in your life,
you’ll see,
one day soon
you will meet your King.”
“Know this my child
on this blessed day
your wonderful life
our God did save.”
“So many questions
cross your mind.”
“I pray God gives you
peace in this time.”
“Only God knows why
He answered not your cry.
Understand not
don’t even try.”
“Soon the pain in your heart
will end.”
“Then the healing
will begin”
“To end this poem
in a special way,
remember this
I once more will say,
God saved your life
This blessed day.”

Sands of Time

You lay beside me
But a million miles away
I feel as a grain of sand
In an antique hourglass
Nowhere to go but down
Just to be turned over and fall again
Why am I locked in this ocean of pain
Sea of heartache in which a lifetime remains
The days I’ve lived
Replay many times
And puts me in the place
Where I must hide
The sands of time are passing by
Reminding me I was born to die
When the time comes
I don’t know
Will I be young
Or will I be old
With a lifetime of accomplishments
Shrouded with love and pain

To the Sailor Beloved

Twilight on the horizon
Red clouds in the sky
The myth tells the sailor
It will be his delight
The night was calm and peaceful
The day was beautiful and bright
The myth was truthful to the sailor
It was his delight
The next day was quite the opposite
The sky was red as flames
They myth tells the sailor
Take warning on this day
The storm clouds rolled in
The sea began to rage
The boat was tossed from side to side
Not a swell showed any grace
The sea was like the devil
His scorn felt in every wave
To the sailor it told him
Your life will not be saved
The sailor fought for hours
His boat and life to save
The fury of the sea
Gave him no lead-way
Then a wave of great size
Hit the boat with strength
Causing it to capsize
The sailor trapped within
With fear in his heart
As his boat did sink
The sailor thought of his family
He would never again see
With little air remaining
In his casket of metal and steel
The sailor uttered his dying words
To his family he loved so dear
“I may not be here with you
For I am dead and gone
But in my death remember
My love for you will live on”

Our American Soldiers

To all of our soldiers
Here and abroad
Your bravery is seen
And honored by all
Your caring touch
To the people you free
Your scornful punishment
To those who deceive
You’re doing your duty
You’re fighting with pride
Defending a people
Who know not how to survive
All the small children
With eyes so bright
Look at you
Understanding not why you fight
The freedom you bring them
Comes with a price
So many American soldiers
Have given their lives
Is a life for freedom
And even exchange
Another countries freedom
And American family’s pain
For the loss of their loved ones
Who died in a fight
A memory they will live with
All of their lives
Our county was built
With honor and pride
Without our brave soldiers
We would never survive
To Our American Soldiers
Alive and gone
Your love, life and honor
Will always live strong

Dedication
To all of out American soldiers who are fighting, have fought or died in the war in Iraq,
Afghanistan or anywhere else. Remember you are loved and are being prayed for by loved
