monster energy

Monster
Energy drink
Wake me up when tired
Tastes amazing in the morning
Awake in a can

the elusive sleep

Sleep
The sweet rest
Elusive to me

goldfish

I have the memory of a goldfish
At least thats what i say
You tell me to do something
Ill have forgotten by this time next day
You write it down for me
Thinking oh this will help
But i cant remember where i put it on the shelf

Night

Night
Time of rest
Yet I am awake
Annoying people force the day
Night Time

Allergies

Allergies
The bane of my existence
You Make sleep impossible
You Make eating a hassle
You ruin my whole week
Just by existing

forgoten projects

Unfinished projects
Just sit on the shelf
Collecting dust like that old elf
Remnants from an obsession now gone
Now barley gazed upon
It's not the first of its kind
No not by a bit
But it's also far from last
Of the projects ill quit

Little boxes

Life seems like something huge
Indescribable in the world
Till you have to pack it up
Till you are told fit everything in a few
Little boxes
Everything must go they say

But when putting everything in
One life seems not so big anymore
Xenolithic the best way to describe
Everything in a life all you know
Stuffed in just a few little boxes

a grandchilds sorow

I didn't cry when i heard
honestly I didn't react
I dont feel i truly understood
What was meant by that
Even now months after the news
I still don't shed a single tear
Your taking this so well im told
Yet all i crave is to talk to you
But the time for that has passed
I remember the times we had
Both the joyful and sad

A Lament to Tests

Testing sucks for both you and me
On that I think all can agree

Stuck in with nothing but a pen
Constantly wondering when will this test end

At first you may try to be right but it won't be long
Before your saying eh i could be wrong
