Mya

Her face so young, so untouched
So full of light
She lights my world.
Her tiny hands reach towards the sky
They reach for me.

Trilling laughter echoing in my ears
I smile because she smiles.
Love as pure as this only exists in a mother and her child
I now know how incredible that love truly is.

She is utter perfection
Eyes blessed by the blue of the sky
Lips kissed by a rose

I love you, Mya.

And Him

I look at him
And I know
I have the world on my side
Every dream I ever had
Finally coming alive.

He's more than I could ask for
And yet here I am
I'm asking for something that he'll never give.

I want a little romance in my life
I want a guy who isn't afraid to cry
I want him to know whats on my mind
And him to say"honey I have time".

I need him here in my life
Without him, I'm not sure I could survive
I used to be a girl afraid of change
Now here I am running that way.

I used to think that I needed more
Then I realized something that shook me to the core
I have it all
He's given that to me
A beautiful daughter
A place to be...
And him.

Puppeteer

Am I destined to be your puppet?
Will I ever be the puppeteer?
Do I even have a chance to measure up?
Or will I forever be drowning in my fears?

You’ve captured me in your shadow
I’ll always chase your ghost
I’m a prisoner to who you used to be
Maybe that’s what I miss the most.

Follow me, I beckon
To a higher grace I stand
Forever lost in memories
A faded heart in the sand.

Your Woman

I'm a woman that feels so deeply
Every broken heart killing me slowly
Nothing can come close to the fear that I have
Of being so close to you
I lose who I am

I'm an emotional woman
A walking break down
A hurricane ready to take down
The world
I'm a fight waiting to happen
Tears ready to spill
Trees ready to sway
To bend and break at my will
I like it my way.

I'm complex and complicated
A little outdated
I'm a woman of no regrets
Everything happens for a reason, right?
I'm a firm believer of fate.

I'm a woman of feeling
A girl, a dreamer, a believer
I am a woman of humor
A laugh can cure a thousand hearts
I'm a stay together kind of woman
One who won't fall apart

I'm your woman
I'll always be your woman
If you want me.
