A SKY WRITTEN IN ASHES

A SKY WRITTEN IN ASHES

The sky was written in ashes, the clouds dark and bleak,
Whispering secrets they dare not speak.
Fire carved its visions on the rooftops of stone,
Each verse held a heartbeat, not sorrow alone.
Even the sky wrote in ashes, its story bathed in pain,
Yet hate turned to warmth, and the words bloomed again.
The sky’s cruel script was heavy and hushed,
But children dream in colors, pure and untouched.
Their joy rewrites what the fire erased,
At the sign of dawn, new stories are placed,
Though the sky is written in ashes, it is full of holes and scars,
The thread told to bind it is not very far,
The sky may write stories in ash and despair,
But remember the light that lingers through the air.

Big can be small and Old can be new

Dear Grandpa,

Since the day of the old,
And the time of the new,
Your strength never grew cold,
Your mind was never due,
You stood strong,
Mighty as an ox,
Smart like an ape,
As cunning as a fox,
Though one more year goes by,
I hope to see you,
At the corner of my eye,
They may push you down,
And stomp on your belief,
May you stand your ground,
And not dare to grieve,
Every small act,
Is worth a thousand plays,
Never stop smiling,
Not by night nor by day,
The little things you do make a big change,
Don't you ever stop,
No matter what they say,
Even an elephant fears a mouse,
Even a tall building can fall,
The one true thing that matters in the end,
Is the one who's above them all.

Destined by a Thread

Destined by a thread,
Stories untold,
As the sun turns red,
And the earth grows cold,
The future unseen,
The stories untold,

Life goes by day and night
 Written in the stars,
Our fate takes flight,
A map of scars,
That glimmers at night,
The heavens whisper,
What time cannot hide,
A cosmic scripture,
Where dreams collide.

A pilot, a nurse, a doctor too,
These are all dreams,
That has to come true,
What is fate?
When it's a God that guides us,
Everything he has done,
Is done for us.

Destined by a thread,
Written in the stars,
What's there to fret?
When we know who we are.

A Mother Figure

She is the quiet dawn,
lifting shadows from the earth,
her hands, a cradle of warmth,
her voice, a shelter of song.

She is the river’s flow,
carving paths through stone,
teaching patience in silence,
guiding the lost back home.

She is the steadfast flame,
burning through the storm,
her light a beacon of hope,
her love a sacred form.

She is the unseen star,
shining through the mist,
The Chosen Warrior,
whose care none can resist.

She is the homemaker, the food-bearing goddess,
Yet through all the praise, she remains modest.

Mothers are everywhere, across the world,
in golden halls, in humble soil,
strong women united as one,
through misfortune, they still find joy.

Every living soul should honor them—
uncle, aunt, child,
and especially men.
Though we may falter, forget to be grateful,
A mother’s love remains faithful.

God's child

Honk, honk, honk goes the morning horn,
Come praise Jesus this early morn,
All the Bible stories i would tell,
Let all God's children be at well,
So everyone goes to heaven not hell,
Here in God's temple i will stay,
I will never just walk away,
Because i know God is great,
I will dance, sing,, and celebrate,
I'll preach God's word everyday,
So that he'll make a way,
When i wake up and open my eyes,
There awaits me God's surprise.

My Dear Friend

My dear friend
Where are you?
I will search till the end,
for a specimen or clue,
Wherever did you go?
Wherever did you hide?
Did you run into the snow?
on the other side,
I wish you were here,
I wish you hadn't gone,
did I lose you, I fear?
Is my happiness done?
I will search high and low for my friend,
I will search all around till the end,
But there's still one thing I can't comprehend,
Where did you go, my dear friend?
