Sandy Garfield Poem
she always said it aint that bad
it's not like my mom and dad
it was just a push just a shove
it's not that bad we still have love
the time before he took it a little far
he gave her a black eye in the car
he said he was sorry he would stop
just so she wouldnt call a cop
the next time it was a little worse
so you fell down said the nurse
she tried to hide it so people wouldnt see
how bad he has been to her how bad he can be
her family and friends began to wonder
why she let him take her under
now her family and friends sit and cry
he beat her this time to make her die

Sandy Garfield Poem
there's no easy words ever to say
to help the pain of god taking her away
the world today is so hard and cruel
everyone for themselves there's no golden rule
the hurt you feel is so hard to bare
everywhere you look you see her there
so happy so sweet so full of grace
beautiful eyes on her smiling face
cherrish the memories that have been made
embrass them forever they'll never fade
remember the moments those special things
for now she takes flight with her angel wings

Sandy Garfield Poem
laying in bed footsteps she hears
is he coming to her this she fears
mommy doesn't know she can't tell
all she know's she lives in hell
she prays to god he doesn't come in
asking god why he allows him to sin
standing at the door his hand on the knob
pulling up the covers she starts to sob
calling her his princes his little girl
smelling his breath her head starts to swirl
she wants to get out to just run away
just so he wouldn't touch her another day
