Between the Noise and the Sunlight

I carry quiet things
which I keep in my pocket
as folded notes
that I never read
but I always keep with me.

The sound of a laugh
that didn’t last long enough
the way the sky looked once
when everything felt possible

some days
i am made of questions
stacked like unfinished homework
what if
why not
when will it make sense

other days
i am just breathing
in
out
like that is enough
like that is everything

I have learned
that growing feels a lot like breaking
but softer
slower
like cracks in glass which remain hidden
until the light strikes at the exact moment.

I keep going forward
through all obstacles.

I exist
between the loud sounds
and the complete quietness
that exist between my past self
and my future self

my authentic self
stands under the sun
without any fear.

The person who waits
for me to arrive
has always believed
that I would reach this destination.

Neptune: The Far Blue Whisper

The location of names becomes recognizable only after traveling
beyond the Martian heat
and the Jupiterian tempests
a massive yet unknown entity exists
which people almost never discuss

Neptune

the entity does not require observation
the entity does not release its red light
the entity does not emit its golden light
the entity exists
in its cold state
with its blue appearance
the entity remains silent

if we could see despair
its color would match this shade

the winds there produce sounds that exceed all other locations
but no human being can detect them
the storms move through space
like explanations for complicated thoughts
which keep moving through their endless
repeated cycle
without reaching a conclusion

I selected this planet
because of its dim appearance
instead of its bright features

the display of hidden emotions
appears through the way people
maintain their undisclosed emotions
which they choose to keep private

Neptune exists anyway

distant locations retain their significance
silent environments contain active existence
while people cannot see something
they can operate their functions

the main message seems to be that

you can maintain your existence
through the lightest exposure of sunshine
which exists at the universe's outer limits

you maintain your existence
through your active movements
which display your strength

the world exists
beyond our line of sight

the world exists
even when people do not pay attention to it.
