If Only

On New Years
On My Birthday
On Valentine’s Day
On Mother’s Day
On Easter
On Father’s Day
On The 4th of July
On Thanksgiving
And On Christmas Day
You’re Not There
If only I could hold the day that I seen you for the last time
If only I could hold you and say I love you just once more
If only I could see your smile just once more
If only you know the things I would give to see you again
If only I could take the pain away that you had before you went to that special place
So all I could say is just save me a space in that same special place

I Look Up To

A person who work hard to get what they want
A person who could take silver and try so hard to make it gold
A person who love doing what they do
A person who makes friends everywhere they go
A person who stay in their place no matter what go on
A person who make people happy and feel like they have a friend somewhere if not at home
A person who voice is like a smoothie no matter what they say
A person who love their kids like no other could
A person who no madness from no other
And that person could be you
But most of all me!
I am that person I look you to!

Why

Why people say things that they don’t really mean?
Why do things for other people and not your own?
Why take away jobs that people really need?
Why take away homes and leave then on the streets?
Why take away things that people really need just to build up your self-esteem?
Why I ask these questions they look at me and say?
“No!” I say with a neck roll and an attitude
It’s not about why I ask them, it’s about what’s you’re doing about them, I look at them and
said!
As they just stand there and look at me, and have nothing to say!
I just look roll my eyes and walk away!
“As the door closed behind me I fall to my knees and pray for God to forgive all the people
in there with nothing to say.”
