A new beginning

I lost my self in fairytales and magic 
but I am 18 years too old for that 
but I as I build this castle from broken memories and lost dreams-


but as I 
                   b
              m
            i
        l
    c
the spiral staircases 
I pray the walls
do not crumble 
but as the castle shivers and shakes 
I pray that soon I will find the peace and magic 
I have been searching for all my life

but as I climb to the last floor i put all the broken glass back together
as best I can hoping there is still something to be saves 

                                            guess what...
                                                                             there's not... 
it's all gone 
because when you left 
so did I
perhaps...
it is my own fault 
for expecting 
either 
to 
stay...
