Joshua Cordtz Poem
The mirror sees me
As eyes casting aspersions
I cannot look at myself
For longer than its reflection
I do not want me to crack

Joshua Cordtz Poem
My soul is a world
Devoid of a sun
Scarified by the woe
For what its become
Gliding in silence
Through vast emptiness
Past the dark yawning mouth
Of Voltaire's abyss
This is all my soul knows
From its birth to the grave
Still it spins on
Alone, unafraid

Joshua Cordtz Poem
My tomb lies empty through resurrection
Another chance to gain ascension
But what seemed a miracle
Was a curse instead
I discovered the living
Preferred me dead
