The Wolf With No Fangs and The Rabbit With Fangs

Wolves are always the monster.
Rabbits are always the prey.

Not in this story, the prey is the wolf.
The monster is the rabbit.

But no one will ever believe the wolf.
The rabbit keeps biting at the wolf.
No one would notice it anyway.

The rabbit never has fangs.
Or so they thought.

The wolf never fights back.

The rabbit leaves deeper marks each bite.
The ache is never seen.

Today the wolf struck back at the rabbit.
That will not end well.

---

*monster: everyone growls to the wolf with blind eyes*
*victim: everyone whispers to the rabbit*

The Silence Keeps Asking Questions

Are you “Enough” for them?
Are you sure they “love” you? Are you “perfect”
for them?
Do they really

 “Need”

 You?

The “silence” gets louder at each question.

Are.	you.	Even.	“you”	Anymore?

“no”

The ”silence” was quiet for once.

It asks one more question

Are.
You.
“Okay”?

“No”

I'm “sorry.”
the “silence” would answer for the“last time”

The Body Remembers What the Mouth Won’t Say

“. . .” My mouth tried to say
what had happened to my body

Why hadn't the words
come out of my mouth?

“Hey I need to tell you something”
I said that to my friend

“What is it?”
They replied to me.

“I-I can't remember. . .”
my voice started to shake

“Why can't I remember!”
I yelled
thinking someone. . .

anyone

would know the answer

Months go by. . .

No one can hear me.
Because. . .

I stitched away the mouth
Who couldn't remember
Even if my body could.

For me, I’m no more

My body no longer sways back and forth.
The wind has died down.
The light turned low.
Except for the light of my phone.

The rings are now quiet.
But your name still shows.
The light shines only on my body.

Your roses are still in my chair.
The note lays close by.
waiting.

Waiting.

WAITING.

The phone answers.
All you see is my body.
There's writing on my shirt.
It repeats the line.

“For me, I'm no More”

No, cried the rabbit

“No, I don't want to”
he said, choking out a sob.
“. . .” she chuckled and smiled but it didn’t reach her eyes.

Red hand marks were left all over his body.
Only he could see them.

His voice is gone.
The shimmer in his eye dimmed.

The red marks only appear when she's around

Bite marks were left on the spot he keeps hidden.
He is a “rabbit”

She took something that can never come back.
She is a “Wolf”

“. . .” The sobs, yells, begging. Disappeared into the shadows

The “Wolf” ate the “Rabbit”

Music

Music is something.
That something is what helps me escape.

Escape reality.
Escape the life i was promised

The way it soothes the thoughts.
The way it numbs the pain.

When it's gone.
The pain comes back
The thoughts get louder.

 The rope inches closer.
 The pills jittering start yelling.

 I turn the music up
louder. Louder. LOUDER
My ears bleed, but I don't care.

 I just want to escape.
Escape from reality.

So my body lays motionless.
The music playing.
An empty pill bottle in my hand.
Blood drips from my ear, into the puddle.

The Quiet Won

My voice is gone.
That's when I knew the Quiet won.

Again.

Didn't fight back.
I wasn't scared.

Just tired.

No one listened.

Ashes

My mind has ignited.
soon turning to ashes

Next to turn to ashes is the pain.
The pain that furies

Soon it will be consumed.

It fears me,
But I won't be the one.
That fears it

I can feel the fire
It consumes my body.

Slowly.

Painfully.

Soon it will be I
Who consist of no more.
Then a pile of ashes.

Rotten

I’m slowly rotting.
My body is decaying.

I’m supposed to be. . .
I want to be.
Dead

I can't take the pain anymore.
I hear subtle voices

They talk to me
I find some kind of comfort in them?

People call me
crazy

Broken

Wrong

Pathetic

And the worst one
Monster. . .

Every time I hear it
The voices get louder
I black out

When I wake up
there's blood on my hands.
Again. . .

I stare at the blood.
Then the gun
Back to the blood.
Back to the gun.
Blood.
Gun.
I grab the gun
I hold it under my chin

My hand tremble
Tears fall
The voices yell

“Bang”

Everything is gone
The voices go quit
The pain is gone

My body is now is finally
“Decomposing”
Or as the people will whisper
“The monster is now rotting away”

The Apology Came Too Late

“I'm Sorry”
They said to the lifeless body.

There's no remorse in their eyes.
A hint of pleasure.

They know it was their fault.

Leaving them alone.

They knew the person was lost.
Afraid.

They begged for you to. . .

Stay?
.
Your body lies there.
The bleeding stopped.
You cried for them but they left
Why do you still want them?

They.

Hurt.

You.
