TO ACCEPT LIVING

If onions didn't cry
Then how would my eyes sting?
If knives didn't bleed,
Then how would my wounds be sharpened?
If flowers didn't shone,
Then how would the sun have bloomed?
If I don't die,
Then how would It be known that I had lived?

THROUGH THE CAR WINDOW

See grey clouds in the clear skies,
I see swaying green trees
See my reflected face,
I see birds flying in the wind.
