Uncertainty of a Heart

O my life! What a beautiful disaster it has become! For the doses of my sunny days and starry nights grew numb, And the sweet caress of my existence has partly succumbed. It paralyzed me—as though my foresight had been overcome By whispers creeping into my mind like an intruder's hum. If I could depose the noisy image of my tomorrow, Would it bring me silent war or peace amid the undertow? How could I unfetter the finitude of my own window? For my soul could barely perceive the playful tongue of a foe, Or a friend's delightful persona behind an ugly show. Yet I lament that the world has made its own foolish nickname When filtered righteousness and glamorous deceit have enflamed. On whom should I lean when moral transgressions take on their name? Or should I wish to fly to the Heavens far from where I came? For illusions seem true—and truth can be an elusive game.

Law of Resistance and Repetition

My life feels like an undetached magnet. I do run, yet I recoil and reset. It's like addiction with no use of drugs, Or a trap made by the users' warm hugs. My dear Owner! Release me from this cage. For I am sealed inside my own bondage. Deliver me! Lift me up from this place Of squalid magnets that do not efface.

Cryptogam

In shadowed hollows where sunrays belay, There I live—a seedless form that's clinging. No scent embellishes my cold display. Though in quietude, my soul's still singing. My deep yearning in this gentle despair— To bloom like a wild and fragrant flower, To feel the sun's kiss and the placid air, And bask in nature's resplendent shower. Still, my fragile hope serenely abides And my dream lies on my dampened presence. Yet through the night, a strength within me strides Unseen, while the world's in deep quiescence. Perhaps this form keeps me truly unique; A fern that's unlike other plants they've known. Hence, my soul still stands vibrant at its peak: Like a cryptogam, stemless yet I've grown.

Diary 27

My past was like a red balloon It inflated yet burst too soon The air dispersed without a boon And it echoed my afternoon My blissful days seemed like a cake But sweetness became overbaked The aftertaste could never slake As moments were just underbaked Yet days and nights remain my gift Of life that brings lasting uplift Even if candles fade and drift My fire ignites through snowdrift Though balloons may burst in distress And cakes may unleash bitterness My soul with Him dwells in wholeness And my heart blooms forth in pureness
