Hermosa Secret

In shadows deep, a secret lay concealed,
A heart aflame, its passion unrevealed.
For my best friend, my soul began to yearn,
A love unspoken, a silent lesson learned.

Afraid to break the bond we held so dear,
I buried feelings, fueled by rising fear.
To risk our friendship, a price I couldn't pay,
So in the depths of silence, my heart held sway.

Years drifted by, like whispers on the breeze,
The secret lingered, hidden 'mongst the trees.
I watched you closely, a silent, watchful eye,
While dreams of us together soared through the sky.

But fate, it seems, had plans yet to unfold,
A twist of destiny, a story to be told.
For in your heart, a secret mirrored mine,
A hidden desire, a love that intertwined.

The day you spoke, my world stood still and changed,
Your words, a symphony, forever rearranged.
For in your eyes, I saw a love so true,
A revelation that our dreams could bloom anew.

The secret shared, the truth at last confessed,
Our hidden desires, now put to the test.
And as you knelt, with love's eternal grace,
You asked me to be yours, in time and space.

Now hand in hand, our journey has begun,
From friends to lovers, our hearts forever one.
The secret's out, the fear has lost its hold,
In marriage's embrace, our love story unfolds.
