Jonathan Kuc Poem
A memory, a whisper, a long forgotten time I listen. I hope still nothing, is there a point will there be an answer silents. How long to wait time unknown. In the end, forgotten lost.
A memory of lost time I hoped you would hear me. My voice goes unheard. I am that memory of that whisper floating in nothingness.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
Have you ever held a question that you're too afraid to ask, a thought that you know you shouldn't have, a whisper of a name you long forgot, a song that opened old wounds thought forgotten? These are things we have all been through. It's what makes us human, who we are: a wish for a better life, a hope that you will get by, the want for the pain to end. And no matter how much these words may bother you, they have or will come to mind. It's easy to see what's wrong; it's hard to see what's right. We look at our own flaws more than others will. We are our own worst enemy, and we fight ourselves day in and day out. We live in our heads while the world spins by. Do you see yourself as someone or just an actor in a play? No one is perfect, no matter how noble we think we are. We all have faults, we all have pain, we all have scars that none knows about. In these thoughts, we search to better ourselves or drown in our own mind. We all have demons to fight, wish harm on others, and want peace for our enemies. In these words, in my eye, is the human form in its basic form. Even the cleanest of us have a few skeletons in their closets. In your thoughts of how you act, you think you are your own. Share them or hide away, but you can't deny them. Every day we choose what to do with these memories or thoughts, how they affect us, how they drive us or hold us back. My words are my own and, as such, are subject to change, but we are all thinking, feeling creatures, and that much is true. But how you choose to live with everything that makes you who you are, how you think and feel, whether you are afraid of your own mind or can find meaning in who you are, is what makes you a person, is what makes you human. The good and the bad, your guiding virtue or your sins, under all your vanity and pride, behind the dark corner of your mind, is what makes you human, is what makes you a person. And whether you choose to dismiss this or hold this true is not my place to say.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
Hope is a strong thing, but it comes with a price. You may hope with all your heart for change. You may hope for better days just to be let down and, thus, that hope fades, and you're left with loneliness. While there is nothing wrong with hope, we're aware that nothing is granted, nothing is guaranteed, there isn't always a happy ending. So, while you cling onto that last thread know it may end to nowhere, I do not say these words in malice, but as a precaution, you may hope with all of your heart just for everything to fall apart so while hope is important to know that hope alone does not guarantee safety nor happiness you must rely on yourself your strength you may be alone on your journey, but hope alone may not save you but yourself.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
I know where I've been but not where I go as I walk down this lonely road. The memories fly past like something from a dream of who I wish and used to be. The loves I've loved color my road, my soul gives me direction to where I don't know. This is my road, and they're not all the same, for each life lived changes its ways. Some have purpose while others have none, but this is the way for everyone.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
Bad luck is not a thing, but sometimes it feels so real. No matter how far I've come, it refuses to yield. Doing nothing doesn't matter, and trying too hard never will. But if luck is not a thing, then what is this feeling that follows me? I know I've come far and have done many things, but this bad luck seems to follow me.
I do not understand what it is, but sometimes I feel cursed for having ever lived, born into a world that seems to do me harm. But I push on every day, hoping this bad luck will go away.
I know I said bad luck is not a thing, but why must I be pushed down every day.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
When the world seems too much, when there's too much push and pull, take a deep breath, take a step back. When everything seems too much, just remember, tomorrow is another day, and you can always try again, so don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing the best you can and that's all you can ask for. I understand the weight of the world, but there are some things out of your hands, some things you can't control, but that's OK, because even in your darkest moment there is still something to aim for push for, so get up push forward because tomorrow is another day to try, another day to learn and always remember you got this and don't let anyone tell you different your stronger than you think and no one can take that from you.
Even when it doesn't seem like it, there is always time, so push on to tomorrow, another day to make things better.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
We wait, and we think, and we suffer for the thought that we wait for the unknown truth. We wait to hear the answer to a question, holding hope for something good to come. All the while, we’re left with the swirling thoughts in our head. And every day that goes by, that hope dims; the wait becomes longer and longer, all for an answer that may never come.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
The weight that holds me down, unable to move or think clearly. I wish to be free from this pain, but there is no escape. All that waits for me is a void from which there is no return, and each day it pulls me in closer and closer.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
Waiting, waiting, that's all I do. I wait in pain; I wait in darkness. I wait alone for what I'm unsure of but here I am, so to understand where I am, what I am, you must understand what keeps me here, why there is no escape. It's not that I don't want it, but it's not allowed, so again I wait to maybe see the sun to hear a loved one call my name to feel wanted in a world that seems to leave me behind, so here I am waiting for something anything.

Jonathan Kuc Poem
I stay alone from the pain around me.
I hide from a world that does not understand me.
I stay alone to mend my wounds and to try from falling into this pit of doom.
I do not wish to feel this way, but it doesn't take much to make me fray.
I stay alone because it's easier this way away from people unknown and those every day.
I have this pain, and you must understand I will battle with this feeling to the very end.
I stay alone to feel no pain but wish to feel whole every day.
