not once

holding back tears I shed for a man not worthy of my love,
the man who is filled with broken promises and shattered dreams,
I still don't understand how I can love someone who does not feel
the same as me. Not once did he acknowledged me.
not once did he comfort me when I was down and apologize for how
he missed treated me and misunderstood me. he would much rather 
put me down and make me feel less of a woman. 
I tried to tell him how I feel but he just shuts me out ignore me and 
pretends I don't exist. Life is so unfair when it comes to falling in 
love but not being fully loved back. Not once did I feel like I ever 
belonged because of the love that he never gave back 
I am just stupid in love with a man who doesn't love me
